The £20 I found and handed in at the theatre finally came back to me in the form of a cheque just before Christmas. :j
Just found my old post and I found £40, not £20. I wonder what happened to the rest of it?May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
The most money I've found was a £10 note while out walking in the park. Plenty of pennies on the path, last week a fifty pence.
I once found a purse in the toilets of a motorway cafe and handed it in.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

My son found a rabbit, which we did keep, he's still alive & well & very friendly. His previous owners did a moonlight & set him loose as they left.
Today at work we cleared out the cupboards & I've been given 2 plastic trays, a storage box & some labels. Woo Hoo

I always pick up the coppers I see on the street. Most I ever found was a £75 wage packet when I was wee. My parents handed it in to the police and the owner gave me a £15 reward. :jAny fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do.0

This year I'm saving/keeping records of everything I find:idea:. So far it's been a measly 3 elastic bands & that's only 'cos the dog found them first & tried to eat them:wall: (if I gave royal mail the bill for the number of times he's been to the vet over this they'd have to put the cost of stamps up again......)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

I've decided that I am heading out to one of my local streets at 6am on Sunday morning. There are so many bars in that street that traffic is actually banned from them on a Saturday and Sunday night. I could make a fortune picking up all the loose change dropped by drunks.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

As a kid I always used to be finding stuff.
My best find was a nearly new swiss army knife, which i used for years until i lost it - hope someone else found it!
Used to find a couple of tenners and fivers a year, on average, plus all the 1ps and 2ps.
Nowadays i don't find so much, but then i guess i'm not looking properly. As a child it was my only source of income, but now i'm earning...
Oh, and while i remember, November the 6th always used to be the best day.
We'd get up early, go down to the site of the previous nights bonfire, and look for money that had been in sofas put on the fire. When we were teenagers we moved to searching them before they went on, and used to find paper money too! :T
