Also, when you cook meat etc, AS SOON AS it's cooked, take it out...........take some kitchen roll..........dampen it..........wipe out grill.............repeat if needed............dry with dry kitchen roll.Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j

I feel the two are connected0 -
i do a toasted sarni by making it as you would a normal sarni, and then bunging it in with a little oil on the plates0
-
another good use is for warming slices of leftover focaccia or making bruschetta, it toasts the bread nicely & you get those lovely grilled lines on it0
-
Steak slices cooks lovely
Home made burgers are tasty
Apples n pears nice
Carrots n onions nice
Cheese toastie ok but tastes slightly different to my
sandwich maker (tried GF buttered and not buttered)
Easy to clean when warm with damp Paper towel or J cloth.0 -
What do you think? Will it work?
I have some Filo pastry and some feta which needs using up so I thought I'd make some tomato, basil and filo parcels for lunch, but don't want to stick the oven on just for this.
Would they work on the GF?0 -
I don't know, never thought about it. perhaps!0
-
Perhaps I'll just try the one and let you know then!0
-
Well that's a big fat yes then.
It squashes them a little, obviously, but cooks much quicker on here than in the oven.
They don't look quite as good as in the oven, and the layers don't crumble and separate like they do when baked, but they are actually easier to eat as they don't collapse apart as soon as your knife and fork touch them.
And I took the cowardly way out and cooked 3 in the oven and 1 in the GF for a direct comparison, but still something to eat in case it went wrong. Not very MS today, but certainly will be in future. And will be a regular lunch from now on.0 -

ZipA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
