George Foreman - What do you cook?

Ive got a large George (lucky me), I've cooked chops, steaks (just remember they are cooked on BOTH sides at once when it comes to timing them, sausages (you wont buy cheap sausages once you have seen the gunk which comes out of them on the George), fish (only once - never again, but that could have been MY fault), and bacon (once again, you wont believe what comes out of cheap bacon). its brilliant for most things once you get the timing right and remember to oil the meat. you can even do oven chips on it! toasties are great - and you can make the whole families toasties at once if you have the middle or large one and it is really easy to clean - just leave it on then get a washing up sponge and drizzle water on to the plates, then wipe with the sponge - job done!0

so can anybody give some advice on how to make best use of it, receipes, etc. or indeed whether you have found them not worth having?
Am I the only one to think of George Formby
There's a thread here with lots of ideas on how to use yoursI'll merge this later.

This is the one that I've got: http://www.georgeforeman.co.uk/Compact_Grill_--_Griddle_qp_20.html
........... but have a confession to make - I've not used it yet.
We don't often eat bacon, sausages, burgers etc and last week I forgot all about the darn thing and put the bacon under the grill .
My DD has the bigger version and loves it - even uses it on bbq evenings and takes it on camping holidays with her :T.0 -
Toasties? On a GF grill? Do explain, sounds interesting!0

Toasties are excellent on the GF. Just do the same as you would for a sandwich toaster. Ie butter the outside of the bread lightly, fill with your fave fillings and clamp shut until golden and bubbly. mmmmmmm......Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016

I've not used mine for months as I keep forgetting about it
(was a wedding present). As I really hate cleaning the grill I should just leave it out so I see (and use it) more often because it's much easier to clean.
Making small changes everyday....0 -
we only make toasties on ours
and we never butter the outside of the bread
its makes them greasy
make a sandwich
bung it on
thats it
i have just gotten a diablo though and prefer them made on the gas
we have a hooge george
if you are a meat/fish eater i think they would be better
but if ours broke i wouldnt replace it0 -

I don't butter at all. This is what I do
Put 2 slices of bread in grill. (side by side)
Turn grill on for 3/4 mins
Take bread out.
Put filling on toasted side, then cover with other slice putting toasted side onto filling
Put back into grill
Set for 3/4 mins
