    Hi all
I've tried stopping the intelppm driver as described above, but still not getting an install.
I've got XP Home SP2 (OEM install) with an AMD processor.
    Various error messages like:-
    • Could not backup key and then the key
    • Could not back up registry value and the the value
    • SP3 set-up error - access is denied
    • SP3 install did not complete
Anyone any ideas, or some sort of contact details for MS that won't cost me a fortune?
:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.

Because you've got an OEM copy of Windows, you will have to contact the manufacturer of your computer or you will need to pay Microsoft for support.
