I went for the Sony Ericsson T290i on Orange at £23 a month with the first 3 months half price. you get 100 cross network minutes free each month and cheaper peak rate calls 10p rather than 25p per minute. Itemised billing is included. I find I use my phone at peak times rather than off peak and so free minutes off peak are of little use. I make it £240.50 for the year with £360 worth of points for next christmas, or that TFT we will want by then, if I work on the other half for long enough.
  • Hey guys, has anybody out there received their mobiles yet? I made an order on thursday night, got a phonecall from bootsmobiles on Friday telling me the mobile will be delivered on Saturday by ParcelForce, as yet nothing has arrived, so I phoned them up and they told me that due to demand there was a delay and that the lady who told me of Saturday delivery should not have said that. But on the website it says order before 12 noon for next day delivery. I am feeling a little uneasy about this - anyone got 'em yet?
I just can't be happy today
  • I purchased my Phone on the day of the tip (thursday) and i haven't recieved it yet.
I recieved an email from them saying:
"We are currently waiting for a stock delivery from the manufacturer of the
handset that you have ordered. Please accept our apologies for this delay, we
expect to despatch your phone within the next 7 days."

As it's such a good offer i am not suprised!!
I just wish they would answer my other email!!

I ordered mine two weeks ago tomorrow! It was supposedly sent last week, but i haven't received it. I clled Boots, to be told that that Royal Mail claim the phone was delivered and signed for! I'm waiting for the results of the investigation...

Has this happened to anyone else? Hopefully it's just me who's had a problem, but let me know if not.

  • Hi

i got my boots phone yesterday,i took out a contract with 3 for video, talk and text 700 it stated on website that free inclusive mins were 600 cross network.

i checked the phone to see how many i had when i got it before making any calls it said 400 mins

i have contacted 3 and bootsphones and they are all saying its only 400 inc mins and its a typing error.

upon checking website all video, talk and text 700 on all 3 phone 12 and 18 month contracts are the same (600 mins)

so what do i do where do i stand ??

    thanks

Bubbles, I have just spoken to a very nice man in CS as I was wondering about moving my number as I am also with Orange. Apparently you can take an orange number to O2, T-Mobile, and 3, but not to Vodafone :-(

    Hope this helps
