  • sorry dumb question this, but i didnt see it on the site.

To actually get the Offer, ie the points, do I have to login somewhere to identify myself and my advatage card, like we do on Boots.com before I sign up to get the points when we order?.

Couldnt see a mention of it on the site...

    Thanks,
    Sandy

You are asked your advantage card number during purchase if I remember rightly. I know I entered my number on the form during purchase,
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T
  • bought phone, nokia 7260 on voda 1000 o/peak with 250 texts £16 per month. phoned darth voda to get the lowdown on "off peak" minutes t+cs etc. and during our conversation with the silly girl on the other end she said something about texts being 1/2 price for first six months. At the time it was a small part of a long conversation. now I'm worried cos the website said NOTHING about half price for anything!?! anyone know anything about this?

  • yes i do ... i was given the same blurb.. the CS advisor totally bamboozled me and left me feeling extremely stupid for not understanding what she was saying .. all i could do in the end was confirm it was definately £16 for 18 months and i get reimbursed on reciept of month 7 invoice with EITHER Boots points or the CASH EQUIVALENT!!?? I gave up in the end.

If it is possible to opt for cash instead of points then I am hooked - this is the phone deal of the moment (i calim, all cash back at m7)... We also need to find out if tariff downgrade is permitted. I did a little digging and the company behind seems to be the 'Caudwell Group' which includs the 'phones4u retailler.
    I think....
  • just got mine a samsung 530 girlie pink one.....will have to call someone when its activated to find out my new number as there is nothing in the box with it on!!!also nothing from boots re redemption of points which i though was a bit off...maybe they are hoping we will all forget about them.....
  • cookiemonster .. I got the same phone as you ... did you have a little brown square envelope in it as thats where i found my sim card. Also, i agree, nothing about the redemption from boots which i found dissapointing but will have to remember to do as per website t and c's which i have saved to my PC..

michaels ... im not 100% sure re: the cash .. but thats what the CS girl told me but frankly i wouldnt count on it .. id make them put it in writing first LOL
  • :D Hi bubbles, yup got the sim card but nothing written with the mobile number, still wont be too difficult to suss that one out :D
  • cookie .. i had to ring them up to activate mine .. apparently made a mistake by ringing vodaphone direct not boots (no literature to say otherwise) .. you may have to do the same.. thers a code also you can type on your phone once activated which shows your mobile no. let me know if you need it x
