I have took advantage of this great offer by buying the nokia 7260 with the vodaphone £16 per month contract. This is great for me as I make little phonecalls but txt regularly.
However my husbands contract with orange is ending soon.
I am wondering if there is a good deal with advantage card points I can get for my husband. He uses a lot of peak and off peak minuites to different networks and landlines. ( at least 500 mins)

    What do you think?
    thankyou in advance

I'd go for one of the 3 tarriffs here, they seem to be more generous with their free minutes.

Recieved my handset this morning and everything work fine, and got a 10% off voucher for accessories. The redemption code is 'offers280905', don't know if it'll work more than once though, used it to get a cheap car kit!

I know many will disagree but its ok for Three to chuck in loads of free minutes because you will never be able to get a signal to be use them.

Had Three before, wouldnt touch them with a bargepole. Many friends agree too. Three are still struggling to break into corporate contracts because of their weak signal in many areas.

Feel free to disagree but a mobile phone with bags of minutes at a bargain price isnt much se if you cant make or receive calls.

If you can't get a 3 signal, it automatically switches to O2's network, true 3 used to be a nightmare to use, but I don't see how people can still say this is the case... unless of course you live in an area not covered by O2 either, in which case, you're scuppered either way :D
  • i signed up for one of these phones - it arrived with the box open, no telephone number. I phoned up customer services could not get through, spoke to sales. the old 'i'll get someone to phone you....' still waiting 3 weeks or so later

emailed them repeatedly to get them to take it back (i'm not paying for the return as its faulty in my eyes - open box, no number, no customer service, breach of contract etc...)

people have read the emails but no one is replying!!! not impressed...

  • Excuse my ignorance - but how does the Advantage card work ? Is it a loyalty card or is it a credit card ? I fancy buying one of these phones plus an Ipod Nano but don't want another CC - do they credit the points at point of sale ?
I apologise for not being on subject but would like to know if its worthwhile.
    Thx
  • hi its a loyalty card so you can spend your points in strore to purchase items in full, Boots do sell elecrticals, cameras etc in larger store but have not seen ipods but they may have them, all round good deal :D

mine arrived with no number but still sealed in plastic pouch etc, was it boots you called? i had really good service when i called them
  • Again same as others .... mine arrived sealed ( definately new ) but without number ... so I charged it up dialed my house number let it ring then did 1471 to obtain last number who called .......saves trying to get through to their customer service if you just want your number right away

Not happy with this bunch of muppets. Ordered the Sony 290i on the 20th September. Put on back order on 23rd, phone them today and no they are not getting any more in. Customer service terrible. They were not going to be telling me.
