So is the total cost for the line rental £241.50 ? Less the £360 in points. My worry is that I won't be able to spend £360 in Boots over the next few years as I only buy razor blades and shave gel there!0 -

i have the same problem as you. Tend to buy most goods from the likes of Wilkos etc. However can you use the points to buy electrical etc goods from instore and online?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

It appears that you can only spend points instore and not online0 -
But you can buy digital cameras instore - can't you?0

Yes and a lot of the larger stores stock televisions, dvd players etc but do remember it will be 7 months before you get the bulk of these points to spend.
This is just a personal opinion but I would only go for this if I was in the market for a new contract phone and thought that I would easily use up the points on spending in Boots. In the past I have looked at goods in Boots and unless they are on special offer I know I can buy them cheaper elsewhere.0 -
true but would be a laugh if they give extra/bonus points for buying electrical goods etc. at that rate it will take you longer to use up the pointsProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

I was just looking at the website, and I think you only get 36,000 points if you sign up for the more expensive tariffs c. £40 - 50 a month.
I think for the tariff listed above the points range is between 9,000 and 17,000 depending on whether you go for a 12 or 18 month contract - or am I missing something?

Boots stores seem to stock different items in different stores my local store is small with no Advantage card machine and very few electrical items . I quite fancy a new IPod with the points I have collected if I could get one at a comparible price with other high street stockists I would be happy. On another boots querie I have read Martins tip about Bartering in boots to get a price match with other high street retailers has anybody managed to do this. Ive tried in a few differsnt stores without success has anybody had any joy?0
