400g----£2.22
600g EXTRA VALUE FAMILY PACK----£4.99
I stood of to one side to see how many people were to busy to actually stop and look at the prices ( in 10 min 28 People picked the extra value pack)..

Morrisons are not the stupid ones they rely on customers who are too busy or mithered to read the price per weight who see the words VALUE and think they have a bargin! I have grown very wise to these pricing games and cynical about anything that is being pushed as a bargin i always check the price per weight/ quantity.0

Works the other way too: I got 2 cartons of Ocean Spray cranberry juice the other day at Asda where it was one carton for £1.11 or two for £1.00...

I too found a rather strange pricing in Morrisons, can't remember the exact amounts but the offer was on Robinsons High Juice squash. It was advertised as buy two for £X, but the saving on buying two separately was a miserly 2p!
We mustn't assume it's a bargain just because the supermarket tells us, we've got to do the maths as well!0 -
In Asda they had Doritos at 98p a packet or two for £2 :rotfl:

ASDA are renowned for this sort of thing - the last one I saw was 2 litre bottles of lemonade for less than half the price of a twin pack. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
This sort of thing annoys me:mad:
Along the same lines the Co-op a while ago had four cans of carling (i know, but we all have to let our hair down;) ) for 2.98. The following week all the four can packs had gone and were replaced with 8 can packs on special offer of £6.00. Err, the week before i could have bought 8 cans for £5.96:rolleyes:
I've noticed the Co-op do it al lot with loads of stuff. It should be illegalThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -

Tescos did something similar with cans of bitter last week or could be the week before...the offer was 2 4x440ml packs for £7 (8 cans all together) or 10 same sized cans packed in a box for £7.47
It's the same beer...their pricing totally baffles me sometimes!0 -

Didn't you tell them? I would have. Some people are just not very good with figures that doesn't mean that you should let them get ripped off. They might not have been lazy, just simply trusting and not good at working things out.

This is quite right....
