stupid pricing in Morrisons

Went to Morrisons last week and happened to notice the price per KG of their chicken breasts:
pack of 4 skinless - on BOGOF.............. £14.70 per kg
normal pack of 4, skin on, no offer........ £7.30 per kg
So huge numbers of people must have stocked up on the 'bargain' offer!
I always check the unit price now and compare. Takes a bit of time but def worth it.

Didn't you tell them? I would have. Some people are just not very good with figures that doesn't mean that you should let them get ripped off. They might not have been lazy, just simply trusting and not good at working things out.

yes i did tell all of them..most said thanks and went away with 2 x 400g others siad they didnt care...
Chardonay....
No not lots of time on my hands but I was shopping without 4 kids trailing behind me for once so i took more time than normal...
I always check the pricing on everything i buy to see what the better offer is.................THE SHABBY SHABBY FOUNDER0 -
I generally stay well away from any "special offers" as they usually arent that special. I buy mostly value/basic products at a fraction of the brand cost anyway...sainsburys had kerrygold butter on at 2 for £1.70 last week making it the same price as the basic butter so I got that! ...But I dont think in many cases you can get better value that the own brand ranges for staple items....including household stuff etc. I always check the weight/price just to make sure ,as they sometimes ,like in the case of the butter, have an occasional genuine bargain!JAN GC- £155.77 out of £200
FEB GC £197.31 out of £180:o. MARCH GC - out of £200

I know its slightly off track but its the same idea.
The bar i work in sellf a single vodka and red bull for £1.50 or you can double up for £3.50 where you dont really get any more red bull just an extra shot of vodka,
It makes more sense to get two singles, and the best thing is,
Most of the customers know this and sales of singles have gone through the roof!!!

I find buying Bonio's in Sainsbury's that it is cheaper to buy 2 small boxes than 1 big box, again you have to check the price per kg. Also Tesco dog food it's cheaper to buy 2 x 6can pack than 1 x 12can pack. I always used to buy big packs thinking they were cheaper but now check price per kg whereever I canThere is no issue so small that it can't be blown out of proportion0

You do really have to watch Mr M. I've found that if they run out of something on special offer they will put a full priced product in it's place on the shelf but not change the special sign. Last Christmas they had a special 5 bottles of special beers for £4. When we got to the counter it was more expensive. I pointed this out to the sales girl who informed me that I only had 4 bottles of the special beers and one full priced beer. They had snuk the full priced beer right in the middle of the display for the specials beers.January spend = £100

you have to watch Tesco's litre packs of orange juice. Sometimes the six packs work out more expensive per litre than the 4 packs.Make £2025 in 2025

Asda bags of chocolate limes last week - 58p/bag, 3 bags for £2. Luckily whenever Asda do these offers, they do charge the cheaper price (i.e. £1.68 for 3 bags), or at least they have whenever I've purchased anything that's supposedly on offer.
If they were to charge the £2 for 3, you'd get a refund on the extra 32p you'd paid, plus a £2 giftcard. That's why I tend to try the offer even when I know it makes no sense.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Noticed when I was in Superdrug last week the shampoo I usually buy at 65p a bottle was on offer at 2 For £1.49. They must think we are so stupid.0
