stupid pricing in Morrisons
Comments
-
Worked in Morrisons before. I have noticed this all over the place. They make us put up signs that say "Better Value" and they dont actually change the price. The most commun is to put up a small tag that just puts the price in big letters, people believe its an offer when in fact its just the same.
One other thing to look out for is that certain times offers arent calulated up on the final bill and there for you dont make your saving. Give a quick glance over at the end of the bill to make sure of this!0 -
I have seen this at Morrisons, Sainsburys and Tescos. don't shop at Asda; they are low price but very low quality.
Strange that, I've worked in packaging for years, hardware side as well as labelling side and have visited the various manufacturers around the UK and watch the production line putting exactly the same contents into different shops own brand item as well as a branded item. The come down the same bottling, canning, packing etc line and then randomly get shoved down a branch line to have the various labels put on them. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Not sad at all! Think how many calculators you can buy with all the money you save.
(No, seriously, I've done it myself.)0
