Pops head up from the parapet, and slowly raises hand.
Please I wish to confess I have not spent any money on food, but did buy 2 new bras and some knickers £35.00 in total.
The wire came out of my old bra, whilst bending over and talking to a customer, most embarrassing, I then had the choice to ignore it, remove it, or try to push it back.
Unfortunately the customer’s child saw the wire thing, and made a comment!!! :rotfl:

Afternoon all
well day 2 and NO spends..i had a minor blip yesterday..got the WW mag -although in my defence
..hubby left me the money for it "to treat myself" as he is away..only 2 days so he is back tonight :T so technically I didn't spend anything :rotfl:
Have spent most of the day in the garden again..planted out my butternut squash, more tomatoes and some more raddish and spring onions :j ... its coming along swimingly to say most of it is in pots n troughs... hoping to save us a small fortune fingers crossed
I did manage to demolish 2 kilo of oranges yesterday all to myself... have a serious fruit fetish..still at least its helping the weight loss
... so i have 2 kilo left but then i have my 4 big tins of fruit on stand by ..so i WILL get through this week ....unless there is some major clanger
Hubby isn't in until late so im doing him a pasta salad for lunch tomorrow at work and i have some puff pastry in the fridge and lots of odds n sods i would like to use up so i will "concoct" a savoury slice..hubby loves it when i make things like that.. so if he is hungry when he gets in that will keep him happy plus it will make a bit of space in the fridge :T
right i had better get off..keep up the good work everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Well day two of no spends and
I have resisted ice-cream and diet coke when at work.
I just sat and ate my packed lunch and drink from home :A (think I am addicted to D coke as this is the one thing I am missing most)
Oh and I have picked up my new bike :T (already paid for) am so chuffed about this as my last one was pinched over a year ago  and I have had to wait to get new one as they damaged the shed door so badly it was unsafe!!
So spent £9.95 on lock to prevent same happening again.
But that is it.
So not too bad reallyMortgage Owed: Sept 14 - £107398.200 -
Hi everyone
Its Day 2 and I've managed to stick to no uneccessary spending. We needed milk and cat food (which cost £4.50) and bus fare to work (£4)
I was really tempted to go and buy an ice cream cos loads of people were walking past the shop and they looked really scrummy but I didn't.
I was really bored at work today (I work for myself and it was really quiet  again:eek:  so I made a list of meals and we should (with a few bits at the weekend be able to manage for another week without a big shop)
Its amazing just how much you have to spend on just the necessities like bus fare because you have no choice. I've spent £12.50 already and we're only on Day 2
Anyway good luck to eveyone and I'll report in tomorrow (and probably check a few times anyway)

Is this the same idea as the no spends on DFW? Is this one specifically Old Style?0

Seems I may have come to this post a little too late, but would love to try it next week. I'm sure we have enough food in the cupboard and freezer to last and would be a good idea as I'm sure I have forgotten the food thats at the back. :O)
Well done to everyone who's halfway through this week!!!!;)0 -
Well, yesterday was going well, until I realised I had no hayfever tablets left, so popped into Morrisons and bought their own brand ones for 69p rather than the ones boots tried to sell me last time at over £4. Otherwise nothing spent. Supper was fish finger sandwiches with cherry tomatoes. Today will be a no spend as I'm at work all day and leave in 20mins and won't be back until 8pm.
Tonights supper will probably be salad based, possibly with hard boiled eggs as we've not used any this week.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650 -
Well I have bought so far this week 4 pints of milk from Iceland as it was only £1.10 there as opposed to MrT where it is £1.34 and a dozen eggs from the butchers at £1.89 and thats all I have to buy this week.I had a hospital appointment, and rather than buy a cold drink there, I took some bottled water from my fridge instead, so I have saved a good quid on that .This week, fingers crossed, I will have spent £2.99,:j and I have nothing else to buy at all.I have been shopping from my freezer and my cupboards so I am feeling very vituous at the moment:D Keep up the good work folks0
