ss I can use any money off vouchers at tesco for money off anything from mags etc...sains will only give you money off the product but tesco will allow anything (unless is their wn tesco voucher).
RS...you have to decide whether spending vouchers is effectievly cheating lol!! I decided it was so have to wait to spend my HMV voucher until next week! Reaon behind this is that the weakness for me, was spending of any kind - if I didnt buy one thin I still got the same buzz from buying sommat ith vouchers so decided that it would have to be a no! Its your call but I suspect if youre really honest you will like me get a buzz from buying anything & to change the habit you have to feel the pain! I was surprised how anxious this made me feel (worrying i itself!) & felt a huge sence of achievement (until the migraine) that I didnt spend but it was hard!! Well done for resiting the choc!!
    Well done salster!
Jellie not too late - you just need to get organsed & away you go! Some days are better than others! Things like petrol dont count as most need it for work!

Hi ISOM, hmm that's something to think about, I've never been a massive shopper (my debt came more from doing things than having things), I think my 'problem' is more being disorganised - not getting up early enough, not buying food for lunches, or not making lunch! and therefore having to spend on bus fares, food at work etc. I might leave the vouchers till the weekend as have a friend staying for a few days and she'll inevitably want to go shopping. Doesn't usually bother me (last time she spent £50 and I bought a £1.49 nail varnish) but it would be nice to be able to get something when we're out. I'll sleep on it.... :)

ooo - snap! that was me too, changed days now and HATE spending anything though.:o got up this morning feeling lousy and considered school lunch/bought lunch for me option but then considered the fact that basically that would be a fiver better off staying in my purse and only took a few mins to make pack ups.

I have had a really bad day and spent money grrr. I dont know how much its not that much but i have around £8 to last me till friday and then £51 to last me tfrom friday to a week on monday as all rest of my money is taken up by paying bills!!

we went to the libary and registered and DS3 loved it whilst DD2 was chucking books on the rug!! We brought some books home also.

Got a argos book as my DS wants to cut out pictures of the toys, glue and stick them on paper to make a xmas list - bless him (i hope he doesnt tear out every single item of toys LOL)

Going to see a house from outside tomorrow that i have found to rent with my Boyfriend. :) Then nursery oh and in morning going with my friend to Mr M to do her weekly shop

Not doing very well with the smoking but down to 10 a day ish instead of 20/30!!

I have 12 tomato plants that have popped up since planting them last week but sadly no strawberry ones yet so my DS3 is excited about that.

I have started cross stitching also which a fellow mse'r sent me for free :)

    Sorry spent yesterday :o

Ended up going for a drive last night and some how ended up in the car park of a local sainburys.

They where reducing bags of salad down to 10p-20p. 2.5Kg bags of spuds for 20p.

How could I refuse. Spend £1.70 ish and came out with two bags of salad, two bags of spud. a packet of biscuits (on offer of course) and box of supercook gelatine as it was only 17p a box and ok to next year and a bag of Jelly Babies for my husband.

But today should be ok. But will need to get fuel tomorrow. Blinking car what does do with it drink it :rotfl:

Gave one bag of spuds to mum and 18 baps that I got for 10p for 6 the other day to her. Fair exchange for husband. Oops sorry fair exchange for feeding and putting up with husband today.

    Yours

    Calley

Evening all! Wel after a slighty traumatic but good day of training popped into asda for prescription and ended up with non alch beer and no pescription! Managed to resist other stuff (ie food, clothes, cd etc) which I was pleased about & mut remember to have a stash of non alch beer (like the taste and happy with no alch!) next time I do this...so that emergency coke, emergency beer, girlie things....!! How did everyone else do?!!

Haven't spent on groceries since Monday...that was an unplanned extra £5 on bargain cheese and a pineapple...I should be able to make it through till next weekly shop without too many problems, but need to be organised of course!
