Skintscotslass-i find Tesco reduce their bakery things about 8.30 pm [i.e bread 10p,cakes 10-30p,baguettes 15p].Also veg and fruit seem to get reduced around this time and go for 10p-30p. I got lucky around 9.15 pm and bagged 6 chicken breasts for 10p,king prawns 10p,sandwich meat 10p and fruit, veg and bread too!! I try to go most evenings as i can walk there with the kids on their bikes [and they are great at bagging bargains too!!]0

Oops went shopping twice yesterday.
Once in Morrions spending £12 ish but saved £5 something on offers.
Went to Sainsburys last night and picked up loads of bargains like bags of salad 10p each and Ice berg lettuces 10p each instead of 99p  and a melon for 5p.
Spent £2.90 ish but got on offer popcorn as husband likes it which is £1.89 BOGOF. But worked out I saved about £8 buying reduced to clear :j and bunged all bread in the freezer. Really wanted a sliced loaf but beggars can't be chosers I suppose.
Seems no one wanted salad or burger and hot dog rolls yesterday.
Have spent £105 ish out of £110 but I have stocked up on washing powder etc.
Only need to buy potatoes as nearly out. And the ones in the garden are not ready.
I do have a freezer full that I am going to work through though. So in theory should save some money next month :rotfl:
Yeah like that ever works.
Yours

Skint Spice i think In Search Of Me meant milk tokens that single mums get for help with fresh fruit, veg and milk maybe?
ah thanks - no not entitled to any of them although I am a single mum! The bag of coppers it is then...:D
Have you no parks near you mumzy that you could take the kids to? My DS was quite happy feeding ducks (if you have any stale bread) or just running around the park playing on the swings and stuff - usually dressed as a superhero.:o We're lucky as we live by the beach and he's easily amused digging for treasure.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

afternoon all! Managed to get home early as meeting finshed at 4!! Yahoo!!
To answer questions...re vouchers I meant money off vouchers to pay for milk. Not milk vouchers or tesco ones!!
Re "what have you got in" Mumz I meant what food is lurking, just waiting to be turned into a culniary masterpiece to save you having to shop again thus meaning that you manage not to spend. I think I may just do it as have just enough cat litter to last until Sun...
Really looking forward to my day out on Sat. Its with an old friend who I shop with a few times a year and we always have a giggle & good old natter!
As for me another NSD today! Gettng the hang of this & am super chuffed because its payday & that would normally mean an excuse for a treat! Having said that my CC will take a bahing on Sat but I need new clothes, although am in the process of selling old ones that I'll never get in again! (not that I want to - I looked awful at size 12 & feel happier with a bit more meat on me but not quite this much lol!!). How have you all been? Thanks all for joining in...reallys helps to know I am not alone. I love the GC but find a whole month means I loose it a bit while this helps me focus in smaller chunks!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Is it too late to join in? Sounds a great idea although I have a couple of meals out this week which I can't get round!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Hi ISOM.. another no spender here, definitely helps taking more food with me to work (though have to admit that jam sandwich didn't quite do it for me when I really wanted chocolate
) Tomorrow I might possibly go and spend some Argos vouchers that I got from surveys (get between £10-20 a month from Consumer Pulse) - but that's free money
Trying to decide between getting new rucksack for my holidays (do need one but have still got a couple of months to go before then) or investing in a pilates ball, meant to be very good for core strength and stomach muscles. Just found resistance band things that I bought a while back (pound shop bargain) and had a good stretch with them - great for getting rid of typing/ hunched over a desk all day sort of tension!
Hope you've all had a good dayDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Another NSD for me, although it nearly went to pot as I've been starving all day, but I refrained.
