Morning all. Well last bits to get today (dry cat food, tin foil, bread tin, bacon and I think thats it!) and then nowt till next Sat! Feels a relief after Sains 46 shop...mind you I would have spent 100 before without giving it a second thought so at least some improvement as I dragged myself up off the floor!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! I'm going to do the shopping today as it means I can go to the market for all my fresh which is usually a lot cheaper that supermarkets, plus Sheffield Market does the best Tomato sausage for Sunday breakfast ever.
I'm still hoping to come in under £30, but looking at the list that might be a bit tight, but we'll see.
I'll post with a breakdown later on.
ISOM - I only ever use Sainsburys for emergency stuff as I find it very expensive compared to a lot of other places I shop.Aiming to be Debt free by October 20130 -
Hello, I'd like to join in. I'll probably need to buy bread, milk and chocolate this week, but that should be it. You are all doing fab, very inspirational!!0

Saturday is here. Saturday last week was the last time I shopped for food. Will try and do another week after I have done my food shop this weekend."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Was planning on doing food shop (last one before payday) today but not feeling very great, may venture out later or may just have lazy one and do it tomorrow, got bits and pieces I can use (not feeling like eating much anyway) but will need stuff for lunches during the week, especially if I'm not going to spend!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Well I've done the shop and spent £38 but I also got extra meat and a couple of bits that weren't on the list to stock up with.
So 4lb sausage (2 tom, 2 pork)
Olives
Salad - lots
Veg for tomorrow - loads (any left over will become soup)
Cheese Ham
Fruit (We eat lots)
Eggs & Duck Eggs as a treat for me
And loads of other stuff that was on the list.
I did the shop between 3 places as I normally do - Sheff markets, Lidl & Tesco.
I'm off to do next weeks breadcakes now and will be doing HM burgers and Potato Wedges for tea, plus I have a free voucher for milk from Sainsburys for work, so that should see me through a couple of days. (I also sent and email around our team last week that said if you get vouchers and don't want them - Pass them to me :rotfl:) No-one has yet
Any way will start mt new no-spend week tomorrow.Aiming to be Debt free by October 20130 -
Hi All
Well have got the last of my shopping in for my no spend week.
Right of topic rant.........
Went down to my weed infested allotment today and moved the second collapsed shed (in the rain ) . Then attempted to move the rabbit hutch, when was attacked by nettles as tall as me  (slight exgageration). Cue temper tantrum a five year old would be proud of. Went off on a rant that the stupid council can have their silly allotment back *muttering* how the heck do they expect me to cultivate this pile of......... (add intermitent swear words throughout this rant
)
So I stompted off home and just to say controlled myself enough not to cry cause I was also covered in mud from falling in afore mentioned nettle patch.
Hope everyone else has a better day sorry about rant*sigh*.

aww hugs tylersbabe! Can understand the rant...it can be overwhelming! If its any colsolation I took one look at my plot today & used the excuse that its going to rain and the weeds are humongous & quickly departed! Will start reading my book "In the red" Alexis Hall this afteroon (from library!). About a girl whose starting debt was 31,000 which is 6000+ less than mine!! Read the first page & it looks like theres alot in there I can relate to...!
Ohh very exciting that I'm not alone! How are you feeling now RS? If youre poorly just snuggle up with a hottie, pref a cat and just chill...shopping can wait and much better that you get better! I woke up at 4.30am again so will be having a snooze this pm...
Not too bad salster & less than my 40+ and that was before todays...I gave up counting in the end...got it all but bacon & can do without for a week! There was some organic stuff but it would be out of date in 2 days! Go for it purple ivy!! Anyone else going to join?!! You do need to be a bit organised but it feels great to achieve it - even if you have to spend a bit on an unexpected emergency! Hoping I wont have any - think I have a bases covered including girlie bits, coke, painkillers...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
