    Hi All

Well after a fantastic six NSD I have fell off the bandwagon bigstyle:eek:

Enjoyed a lovely day in York (£28 train fare) after handing in an assignment I treat mum and myself to lunch (11.60). On the plus side I got two mullerices free as they were giving them away in York :T
then when back home popped in MrS's and spent £12.42.

Roll onto today and popped into garden center where spent £17. 86:eek:. But at least my garden will be bug and slug gaurded now :o Oh and £1.62 in veggie shop.

So £6.50 left......well there should be but I also bought a meal in the garden centre (£11.20)

So have well and truly blown budget

Am going for NSD from now till Monday when my new week starts. Wish me luck cause it's also my birthday on Sunday. Hence to irrational need to treat myself to two meals out or at least that was my defence at the time

Evening all! Well done RS & Salster! Have decided today that I need to have a no spend week next week. Anyone want to join me? That means stocking up on essentials before Sunday & them spending nowt for a week so some organisation required between now & then! Would be lovely to have some company but will do it either way lol! How you doig mumz, CM, MrsM etc...

I'm in! Think am going out Friday night or Saturday but will try and keep spends to a minimum, food shopping Sat or Sun then if I could have a no spend week it would be great - get paid next Fri so it would be lovely to have something left in the bank on payday, doesn't happen very often!

Well done! - will be lovely to have some company! Must do my sums at the weekend but so far know I'm easily under budget on food, if not on other things! Have been good & done a deal with mum - I sort her new CD player (via uidco so I get cashback!) & she then gives me her old cd player meaning I dont have to buy one as mine is bust!! Cunning plan me thinks!

Still doing OK, no food spends since Saturday when I did the main shop for the week. Must try and be organised and plan out for the next week. The problem seems to be once you get into a shop!

    Hi all:hello:
Well I've made it to Friday and I've tried my best. Not sure how I'm going to do next week cos theres not much left in the bank and not much in the freezer.
I must also abmit to 2 naughties. I spent £1.49 on a lovely black handbag (Barnardos)because I am going to a funeral next week and my handbag is a straw one. Also we'd run out of toothpaste so I went into Savers and they had a sale table and there was one lonely little Rose bath fizzer for 10p so I treated myself. Isn't it pathetic how something so small can cheer you up?

Well good luck to everyone who is still plodding along.

PS I'm watching the Good Life at the moment . Shame I haven't got a garden.:coffee:

Well I've spent £1.69 today.

But, I needed a small shopping type bag to carry my lunch and things for work in as I'm currently using a huge full size thing, and it's too tempting to fill it. And I also bought some reduces Potato cakes to go with my HM curry for dinner (when it had defrosted I realised there was no rice in it).

The bag will last forever thus saving the enviroment from the over use of carriers and the potato cakes have given me inspiration to make some.

I have to go through the cupboards and do a shopping list for next week so I can go shopping on Sunday. I don't think it will be too bad and it looks like it will be mainly fresh and cereal.

I'm thinking that if I start on Sunday as a min spend week and limit to £30 I should be okay.

    Wow, that's some good reductions!

Um.. yes, well I slept in this morning and stumbled out of the door, completely forgot to take my lunch with me. Usual drawer stocks at work of cup-a-soup and crackers were depleted so I ended up spending a shocking £3 on fish, chips and mushy peas from the canteen.. it was bloomin lovely though :D Also bought loaf of bread on the way home to have with some homemade soup.

So my total spend has been £5 from grocery budget and £5 on other bits and pieces. Not toooo bad! :o

Evening all! Disasterous day for me! Bought lunch & just back from Sainsbures (where I will not shop again!) & spent a scary amount . In my defence its two weeks stuff plus things like loo paper, cat food (wet) etc and a few treaty things (no alch or fags though so one sucess!!). All I need now is bacon & cat food & then thats it although I have realised that I have a day out booked a week Sat and will have to spend for that. Bath is running and I am in much need of chilling - not a great day & am so pleased its Friday! Am usually chuffed on Friday but even more so today!!
