Moring all. Well think I'll go for £25 this week! Was going for 20 but with cat food at £7/8 a bag that will be quite a bit of an already virtually nowt budget for me! Have amended page 1 but again it will be trying to spend nowt on rubbish generally. I do need some clothes so wont include that in this weeks spends as I have no summer clothes that fit! (long story - lost weight last year, put some back on...). No luxures though is red bull is out and so are fgs & wine!
Welcome salster! Good luck today with no smoking mumz! Will be thinking of you! Good luck with the shed TB!! Migraine still lingering but will go for it & go up to the allotment for a bit in the hope that the sunshine will diminish the agony! If not will have to come back! Have a good day all, will pop in later to see progress! Keep going PI!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
Well I didn't have a bad week and our only spend that wasn't absolutely necessary were sweets last night (Revels yummy)
I still have the makings of quite a few meals and very little money so will be trying for a second week. I've got bread and milk today so won't need to spend anything else today.
I hope everyone is still feeling focused
Good luck for another sucessful No Spend Week MSers

Hi All
ISOM you changed the thread titile I wasLOL
Anyho am not going to allotment this morning as have woken up and ache far too much. Think this is from moving paving stones around garden yesterday
So am going into work instead to finish off some work. Am going to cycle there (I love my new bike) so no spends on petrol or parking either.
Still not sure of my budget for next week as am going to York for the day think as it is a big week for me am going to go for £50 but this includes two return train tickets and a bit of a spend in MrS's as want to get the BOGOF sausages and cheese.Mortgage Owed: Sept 14 - £107398.200 -

Well I've been doing jobs this morning, so thought it was finally time to sit down and have a few minutes here.
Done shopping yesterday, domestic day today, so no spends on food. Dinner with MIL later. Will try and make sure that I fleece the fridge & fruitbowl for potential going off stuff...oh! that's the other thread!
There is one thing that I may 'have' to spend on tomorrow. I didn't get free range eggs at Mr M, as there is a sign on the way to get ds from school that is to a Farm Shop that I haven't been to.. or it might just say 'free range eggs'. Either way, I thought I would give them a try. I find that supermarket ones are nowhere near as nice, so anxious to find a supplier else where.[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Well I'm back & fell at the last hurdge! Migraine wasnt diminishing so got some coke, crisps & fruit pastels on the way to the allotment. Spent £2.33 which isnt bad but still feel a bit bleugh but needed sweet stuff (sugar expands the blood vessels apparently which is why coke is so good fro migraie...) so am disappointed but also feel its not worth ruining another day...feel much better for the coke but didnt spend much time at the allotment as way to hot! Did a bit of hand digging and gave up but wil try & go in the week after work. Planted some stawberries & watered them in and cleared some of the mess from the pond and then came home! Will ow read my book and enjoy hopefully! May have a snooze later but no more spending for me! Farm shop eggs are yummy - a bit more expensive sometimes but deeelicious! Love the garden MrsM!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Hi ISOM, I've found my way over here as promised!
Am trying for a no unnecessary spends week (no bus fares, no lunches at work, no bars of chocolate etc), and a very minimal grocery spend if any. I probably have enough food for the week but am on last toilet roll and don't think I can stretch that out :rotfl: Been good today though, resisted ice cream when out for long walk in the sun and have currently got a chicken in the oven which should make quite a few meals.
Love the garden photos - I tidied mine up today, can't wait till I can actually eat things from it - not got loads of space but I've got onions, garlic and potatoes which are all doing really well
Hope everyone has a good week xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Well last week I spent £2.99 and this morning I spent £1.30 at a boot sale, but got a lovely chrome fruit rack for 50p and a pair of pepper and salt grinders for 50p and a book for my grandchildren about cats-cradles for 30p so I will really hang on to my purse this week.
I only need to buy milk I think this week, although I may use up a carton of long-life in the fridge first.Keep up the good work folk and think how much you are saving.
