Dont you go leaving us now mumz!! Just cos you spent doesnt mean you get to burger off!! How are you doing on no smoking? Just get on the wagon if you can & restart - doing a shop first of you need to! If you stay close to the wagon youre less likely to fal off big time!
Catzine has the machine arrived?!! V. exciting! Keep us posted!
Have to say I am having wicked thoughts. Ie do I get a reward (other than the satisfaction of having performed something close to a miracle in ISOM land!) if I manage to do it? If so what should it be...see told you I was bad. Thoughts please! Was also thinking about vouchers that I have (amazon, boots & HMV) & wondered if they count as they arent costing me owt but decided that they did as still get the thrill of spending so will use the time to research my future purchase wisely...I seriously considered it though but it felt like cheating a bit!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! I stopped buying fresh fruit as always just end up chucking it...may rethink and maybe get some frozen smoothy fruit! (next week!!)
have a lovely day Jackie! I love a picnic - something relaxing abot it - like camping IYMWIM...possibly being out in the sun adds the extra enjoyment!
Maybe my sig isn't written too well.... I started with over £200 and have £47 left! TIll the end of May! The reason I have gone through it so quickly was that there were loads of whoopies of high val items (ground coffee etc etcc) to be had in Mr T. In addition, got some BOGOFs on loorolls and cornflakes etc etc at Mr M and then had visitors (we were 13 last Sat night, I did add in some extra, but not enough!)[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Had to spend money to day as I dropped my jacket potato on the floor at work. And I will never eat anything off the floor.
So went out and bought a sandwich and stuff spent £2.45 oops. But got some very nice jelly teddies. They did rush up to the see through bit on the packet and say eat me eat me please :rotfl: They asked so nicely so how could I refuse
Mind you have only spent £1.96 on wednesday due to buying some washing up liquid and bleach on offer. But my husband bought my coffee and muffin when we met up
So from the grocery budget I have spent nothing on food this week. Might have to get some milk and pasta sauce (I know but I don't like it any other way) But might see if I can eeek it out to early next week :rotfl:
This a great thread. But I am sorry to say I will be spending money in well know high street chemist as I have a till voucher to use.

I just dont know why i cnat do it this time. The patches that i have used last 2 times make me feel sick - i have used them before the last 2 times and i was ok..so dont know why they are making me feel sick

Well I had a wonderful day and did all I wanted to and apart from buying DGS birthday pressie (with a voucher)I haven't spent a bean. This afternoon we sat in the country park and had our picnic and the little guy ate his up with gusto then found another little boy to play with on the swings and climbing frames. He is such a happy little fellow, and the apple of my eye bless him.
On Sunday just after lunch he said 'Nan why can't I call you Mum like my Mummy does then I can have two Mummys' it's such a shame they have to grow up really.
Well I have no plans to buy anything over the week-end as I have more than enough in my cupboards to see me through till I may have to buy some fresh milk on TuesdaySo this weeks spend has been £2.99 altogether.

keep up the good work ladies we are beating the big supermarkets at their own game. Wouldn't it be great if we had one day a week when no-one went into the supermarkets at all.It would certainly put the wind up the robbin' rascals0 -
PI I did understand that but was trying to err on the side of positive! What would you have spent in a normal week compared to what you have spent? Bet its alot less!
Dont you just hate it when that happens Caley. I discovered yesterday that you shouldnt out naan bread in a plastic bag (instead of tinfoil) as it defrosts soggy, although I did manage to salvage most of it! I hate soggy bread eeew! As for the jelly babies - would have ben cruel not to wouldnt it!!
Good youre still with us mumz! Have you been to your GP? I have a prescrition for lozenges as the patches made me dizzy (too MUCH) nicoteine so I now just suck a lozenge when I get a panicky "need a cigy NOW" feeling & day 7 for me so chuffed with that! Why not go to the docs & get some nictenine replacement lozenges - worth a try? I know its SOOO hard to give up but if nowt else just thik of the money! It got to the point I REALLY resented paying that for fags!
Aww jackie thats soooo sweet! What a grogeous thing to say! My heart would have melted too!! Definate pat on the back for all of us me thinks but we cant be complacent as its the weekend and I dont know about you lot but its a definate danger time for me with spending!
I assume that the no comments on my pressie theory means that I am in disgrace?!! Come on ow I cant be the ONLY one who thought that, surely?!! Come on fess up...who else thought the same!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Hi
Have had a great day down at the new allotment. I have been nettled, attacked by a half flat shed, found barbed wire the hard way, moved a tree and it looks worse than when I stareted
On the plus side a fellow allotment holder has sprayed half my plot with weed killer (you can't reach the back bit yet ) and helped save me from the shed that fell on me. Strangley was more concerned about creepy crawlys than being stuck under the shed
Anyho back to the important bit have managed to spend nothing again today :T
purpleivy I live on my own so if I forget to get something it is only me who misses out. Having children is a whole diffrent area they come first so you should not feel you have failed. Nor should anyone else no spending is actually harder than you thinkMortgage Owed: Sept 14 - £107398.200 -
Oops fell off tghe wagon. Husband not well and he wanted icecream so went to Mr S's and came out £9 lighter.
But I did 5 pints of 1% milk (yes that is correct)for 25p. 3 large cartons of leek and potato soup for 30p and 48 slices of honey roast ham for 34p.
The other stuff I bougth I would bought next week anyway.
Got apples as well. So will not need to go again grocery shopping to middle of next week.

I'm a member on the weight loss thread, so it's important that I have my fruit and veggies too. DD Veggie, so she needs her stuff. *thinks , what can we have for dinner tomorrow night when her b/f is over as well, he needs quite a lot of feeding....and he eats it s o o o s l o o o w l l y. Tall and slim, so maybe there's a lesson to be learnt there.
Got three more shops, so looks like I'll be shopping Sundays and trying to follow the no-spend-on-food in the week. Or I could just try and hang on until I have to until I pick up the next lot of fruit and veg. Need Milk, DH has semi on his cereal and most other use in the house is UHT skimmed. I ALWAYS get that at the beginning of the month. Maybe when dd is off on study leave we should go to the market? With 2 of us to carry it should be OK. If we can find on street parking it's free for an hour. Another plan is to go to MIL for a meal. That will free up a bit of time as well.[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
