  • iv sent a final message to all three "Companies" confirming that i wont be contacting them again and that if i dont recieve what i want then i will take severe action, what they dont know is that the action i will take is busting my b*lls to put them out of business and cease "trading", by that i mean campaign to stop them, contact multi newspapers local (gloucester) and nation wide, watchdog and anything else i find to basically ruin them, they are con artists and in times of recession we dont need this.

A suggestion would be for everyone to send all three "companies" a final message outlining what you want, how they are in the wrong (use this thread to help, state the laws and acts they have broken) and that you will undertake sever action if you dont get what you want, then you can all do the same as me and out them to the nation!

    WE WILL WIN!
  • I think if enough people complain to the OFT they might suspend their comsumer credit license while they investigate

Hi, in reply to your message on here asking for a name for someone in Trading Standards, I have to say Tim Thorne, the Principal Trading Standards Officer in Hereford is still by far the best person I have dealt with. He knows everything about this lot and since he took all my paperwork away some months ago I have heard absolutely nothing at all from any of the fitlife lot. I just hope I'm not tempting fate by saying this!!!

have today received letter from empingham asking for even more money now!! Rang OFT who were very helpful and have told me to tell Fitness Finance and Lyle Hill to take me to court, so that is what i am going to do. OFT seem to think the credit agreement is legit and to let a judge decide if i pay or not.

Has anyone else got this information to confirm this?

Its like this, how many people are on here with the same complaints....??? far too many is the answer., so if they are going to take us to court for a few hundred quid its going to cost them more in the long run, as with whats already been mentioned, illegal flyers, not abiding to precontract info and so for, need i say more?!

Just had another call from fitlife....guess what ........... they want money lol. Told them where to go, and she eventually hung up!
They are getting F All from me.
Infact a think av heard from all 3 companys wanting the money, so who is it that actually want the money???? Seems abit strange to me lol. They claim to be seperate, but we all know different lol lol lol

    IM FREEEEEEEEE!!!!!
I Have written confirmation that my accounts have been cancelled

Trading Standards told me yesterday my accounts were cancelled back in March, around the same time i wrote to these B*****ds saying if they didnt cancel my accounts and drop the issue i would be going to Trading Standards.

Typical of these b******ds not to be in a hurry to drop the issue

    either way im finally Free

    Keep up the fight everybody

    Bring these B*****ds down

Millerspike, you are now the 2nd person on here to be free of this lot - but how? Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased for you, very pleased as it gives the rest of us hope, but how do you do it. I looked back and you first appeared on these pages back in Feb this year but people like Pete 1210, Opsmith (and his wife!), Cashmere Pencil, lilmissnoodles, etc have been on ages - what happened to them. I've been to everyone imaginable and I'm still not free - is anyone else???

nrmh02, OFT gave me the phone number of Financial Ombudsman, according to them Lyle Hill & Fitness Finance have a consumer credit licence number which they are allowed to trade under. OFT have said i should write to both companies giving them 14 days to reply(by recorded del so the letter has to be signed for so they cannot say i haven't been in correspondence which they keep saying.) informing them that i want them to take me to small claims court so i can pursue them for damages. They said when it gets to court i will more than likely lose (unless the judge is sympathetic to my reasons for not paying) but i can only afford to pay them back £5 a month, OFT said they would have to agree to this if they want to see any more money.
Congrats Millerspike!! please tell us the secret!!??!!

To be honest everyone im not sure why i was sooo lucky, all i did was the same as everyone else on here, i went to my CAB, they put me in touch with my local TS, TS then sent me a letter to say they had my permission to act on my behalf, i then got a form for OFT asking me to go into detail about what happened when i signed up with these scum and next thing i know im free,

although from what TS have told me and what ive seen in the Corrospondence with them they apparently cancelled my Agreement back in March when i wrote to them saying if they dont cancel ill go to TS

I know ive only been on here since Feb but i have been fighting these b*****ds for a long time,

Just keep up the fight every one and everyone will make it through

when i dig out the letters ill post on here what i sent them and what TS Sent to them also

    hi all,
Further to my earlier post stating that I'd cancelled my DD & written to both Lyle Hill and AMC - I received 3 letters back!!
    1. 27th July: from Lyle Hill stating they are only contracted to manage the repayment!! (I won a prize - not take out a credit agreement?!). Told me to write to AMC and reminded to keep paying! lol.
    2. 28th July: from AMC - a lengthy letter including my membership card - which I've never used - a copy of the credit agreement stating that "FitLife have provided finance for my service contributions and not charged anything for credit" They regret they have "no influence over FitLife and are unable to cancel it as requested". They also enclosed a Welcome Sheet! It's infuriating!!
They regret that they do not agree with the content of my letter.
    3. 30th July: from FitLife Ltd. trading as Fitness Finance stating that they are handing over my account to a Debt Collection agency unless I agree to continue.
    Now What??? Anyone please?
    Thank you.
