Morning all,
Up early, done the ironing and swept the kitchen floor.
Cat number 2 (19 years old) doesn't seem hungry this morning, and is currently on window ledge in what little sun there is.
Going to paint the fence hopefully if the rain holds off, but off for a walk round the local SUnday market / car boot in a bit.

Morning all
Hope you are all well and hugs to Smokey, PenPIn and anyone else who may want one.
Off to bed shortly, had a good night, lets hope tonight is the same, but you never know.
Squiggly I really do sympathise on the essay, I only have 2 left to go and my degree is finished. Hugs to you.
Had a really nice dinner yesterday before work of noodles, prawns and veg all coated in Thai chilli sauce. One of my colleagues at work is married to a Thai lady and is going to ask her for the recipie. Will pass it on when I get it. DS and OH had a great time at the British Museum, and DS is quite enthralled by Egyptology.
Will catch up later. Have a good day all, it's lovely here.

Absolutly nothing planned today, we had a nice hour wondering around the May fair yesterday, but with no money to spend, wasnt able to do much. DS then somehow wasted half a large bottle of squash, so cue a ranting, raving fish wife having a go about the price of food and how little we have. He had seen quite a few of his friends out at the May fair on their own, and i had to explain to him, i couldnt let him go as i have no money to give him to spend (i couldnt let him go without) and by him wasting food and drink like he does, doesnt help me - and in the end him. He will probably remember for about a day, tomorrow will be back to normal, am i the only one banging my head against the wall??
Lunch today is easy roast, ive got roast potatoes i made a few weeks ago frozen, and some sliced chicken in gravy fozen which will save me time today, will just need to do the veg.
Im still on a diet, debating whether to weigh myself later, but im worried that i wont have lost anything and will be disheartened - the problem is, i dont have much to loose and my doctors are happy with what i weigh (it helps my ITP, something to do with hormones in fat or something) but i dont like the fact that i have drifted into the 'overweight' bracket, so just want to loose that little bit to get me back into the normal range. If i found my ITP got worse if i lost some weight, i could just put it back on as that is more important than being slightly overweight, but im hoping that it wont effect it, and that i can be more healthy than i am now - just wish the doctors would support me more.
Well ive started waffling, so better get on, have all my clicks to do.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all
I always wake up about 6am even at the weekend and it bugs the life out of me  But yesterday morning and this morning i managed to get back to sleep :j and didnt wake until 8ish
Forgot we were lazy sods last night and have come down the stairs to find all the dinner dishes we couldnt be bovered to wash up
Kitchen reeks of enchiladas and have had to keep the blinds closed so the folk in the flats cant see the mess  A few gin & lemonades
and some mexican beer to go with our dinner and the kitchen door got shut and the dishes forgotten!
Ah well. Am being a bit crafty as i am chatting on here instead of gettin stuck in as i am waitin for OH to get up and give a hand  s'only fair i think
Not much planned here today, will be watching the snooker later so will be all cleared up by then. Thinkin shepherds pie for dinner, gonna make blueberry muffins later and maybe the lemon drizzle cake i got the recipe for on the GC thread.
Maybe i best start on the kitchen now then!
Have a good day everyone

morning all,
Not raining here at the moment but looks like it might do later  , I have DD's uniform in the wm, and have her shirts to go in next,, would like to get it on the line, but we will see.
Roast pork and trimmings for lunch, I love roasties done in pork fat, makes them taste lovely.
I think we are going to try and get out on our bikes today, lets hope it does not rain, we had a long walk yesterday and I felt so much better for it, so want to get out again today, DD wants to come, but will not cycle as far as us so we will have a slightly shorter one.
OH has decided to go and see his friend, its such a sad story, when he was diagnosed his wife on one year left him, said she could not cope with it, he was such a fit man, always cycling, surfing, he never sat still, and now he is registered blind, and can only see very slightly out of one eye, he gets confused very easily and forgets who you are, he is having to be helped to the toilet, this is all within a year, certanly makes you appreciate what you have.
Good luck for those doing a BBQ today, touch and go i think.
GB have a great holiday, and keep out the loft
Aussie :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: at your picture, have you still got those hot pants ?
Pen pin hugs to you, hope you are a bit better today xx
Smoky hugs to you and the children xx0 -

yesterday was a very non OS day. lunch out and chinese carry out later....and apart from a quick tidy round no housework.
had a lovely day out with my son. can't remember last time we spent quality time together, unfortunately its under horrid circumstances as he has split with a long time girlfriend. but we had fun and its nice to know he still needs his mum even if he is 18!
today plans to visit family, bit of shopping for food, pay for carpet so it can be fitted on tuesday and not a lot else. housework can wait until tomorrow.x x x0 -
Hi everyone
Havent been around for a couple of days, will catch up on the threads in a bit!
Had a lovely day yesterday. Dropped DS off at his grandparents and then went into town to try and find something to wear for a night out next week but couldnt find anything i liked, so very moneysaving! We then went to meet some friends for a drink and went out for a lovely Italian. It was nice to have a day like that although missed the DS a bit! But its the first time since he was born we have done something like this, and my H back wasnt too bad. We have left the DS before but usually just end up in front of the TV at home as we are too tired to go out!
Going to go to the farmers market to pick up some more ostrich burgers before we pick DS up and then got no plans for the rest of the day. Need to put the nappies in the wm and put the bm on so will do that after i've had my porridge and tea.
No news on the house move, the solicitors send us regular email and text updates on what they are doing which is great as it saves ringing them all the time. Just waiting for the surveys to be arranged now.
Hugs to those that need them,
Have a good day xx0 -
Good Morning All
Lay in too long and now feel groggy, weather beautiful at the moment which is making me feel better, still have pmt but will try and get on.
Plan to cook bacon and scambled egg in a minute then need to decide whether we will have roast beef or barbeque. Think might pop into local town as want to look around £stretcher, its about the only shop that will be open so will be very quiet.
This afternoon we should be doing some planting as everything is ready - need to consult our vegetable book as we have no idea what we are doing!
Have a great day.

Hi all
just a quick post to say hello and wish everyone a good day.
I haven't been around for a couple of days as I've been ill (food poisoning I think, rather than the bug DGS has had) so will catch up on the threads later after church
Best wishes

Morning all, cloudy here, OH is hoping for rain  since he reseeded the 'lawn' yesterday and needs the seeds to grow before all the naughty little birdies pinch the lot.
Have a quiet day planned with essential phone calls to both mums and also to DS to make. Going to make another batch of twink's hobnobs since the last batch disappeared almost in a puff of smoke. I made some teacakes yesterday but I think I overstuffed the Panny's little raisin dispenser - when I took the dough out all the raisins were stuck round the outside of the doughball and even my frantic (ha) kneading didn't help. They taste ok but a bit crispy (due to burnt raisins :rotfl: ).
Hugs to all those in need.
Have a great day.
