    Afternoon All

Well after a stressful morning I have just had an email to say I have won a cinema ticket from Diet Coke! :j Dead chuffed, only need one more! :D

Stressful morning - finding out I have a CCJ from 4 years ago, teh court papers were sent to an old addressed, nothing has been forwarded to me

Its a debt for £175 (whcih thankfully isnt a massive amount), and im going to try and appeal for the CCJ to be removed as I have reasonable grounds (i wasnt occupier of the property where the papers were sent so therefore could not defend myself). Fingers crossed they do remove it otherwise getting the house next year will not be an option.

I am also sending a letter to the debt collectors in the hope they will accept a full and final settlement... you never know! :o

Anyway, enough of my moaning, hope everyone is having a good day.

Oh no, that's horrible Amy, I hope you can get it erased.

My ebay bids are up to £26.96 so far, and I'm going to start listing my 100 items at 6 I think. I sold a necklace on my website which is really good because ebay didn't get any of my money :D.

    Thank you.

I have just spent 20 mins on the phone with the Court as i am struggling with the form to appeal against the CCJ. The guy was very helpfuland helped me fill out the form. Unfortunately there is a £75 fee but he said there is a small chance i could get that back. Heres hoping eh?

Also he told me the amount of the CCJ is £159 and what the debt collectors are claiming (£175) is not right and that they cant do that. ;)

Anyhoo, sending the letter off today if I can find my chequebook, if not it will be tomorrow.

    Well done on your bids!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you, it's a shame you have to lose the £75 though :o(. I think you just need to remember it's for the greater good.

Bids are up to £35.94 now. I love watching them go up, it's a bit sad really :$.

    Hello

Oh no Amy, I really hope you manage to get the CCJ removed from your file as its unfair you receiving it when you weren’t living at the address all the paper work was sent too, therefore as you said wasn’t able to defend yourself.

Well done winning a cinema ticket, it’s a great feeling winning something isn’t it?? :j

    Thanks everyone.

Whilst stressing about the CCJ i got a call on my mobile from another debt collection agency. About an unpaid bill to EDF. I sent them a letter around 6 months ago and never heard back from them, until today.

Im just getting so stressed now. Im very close to breaking down.
