Good idea Mabel. (I had an aunty mabel, she was lovely too.)
Now It's been decided that I will put money in the girls accounts ready for christmas (sorry for swearing there ;) ) I have to now decide how much a month will be feasable-bearing in mind there has to be enough for a laptop for eldest one for her school work... I can see that I will be ebaying frantically for the rest of the year!!! I do have some items listed at the mo and have bids so far to the tune of over £22 (that is only on a couple of items out of over 30 listed) Fingers crossed.

    Morning everyone,

I had an expensive evening last night, went out for dinner with some friends and then a few drinks after, it wasn’t until I got home I realised I had spent £49.63 on food and drink. Bad bad Hayley. I can’t even have a no spend weekend to help save some pennies as its Fathers Day Sunday so all going out for a family meal, and it’s my Brothers birthday too, on the same day!!!! I know my mum will pay for the meal, but my OH and I already feel we’ve taken so much from them, so tend to pay for our own meals and drinks when we go out.

I’m really organised when it comes to my bills, all filed away in two pink lever arch folders, and I even have ALL payslips dating back to 2004. My OH nags at me you must keep all bills/payslips, for at least six years.

I’m the only person in the office today, I have a list of things to do, but I find it sooo boring having nobody to chat to all day, apart from students who ring in with queries etc.

Good idea re the nectar points MM :T

I hope everybody has a great day at work, two more days then the weekend :j :j

    Hi Hayley

Well look at it this way, it was a treat. Dont beat yourself up about its as its done and you had a nice time, and its not something you do all the time! :D

Im practically on my own today, which is kind of good, although I have finished all my work for the day. Super motivated this morning! :rotfl:

I couldnt believe I actually have payslips lurking from 2002  Maybe i wasnt as bad as I thought about keeping paperwork.

    xx

Selling the wii is a great idea jen, there is still a lot of demand for them so fingers crossed you'll get a really good price.

I've learnt my lesson about filing stuff away, last week I cleared out my drawer with all of my important documents in. It took me two hours I had so much rubbish in there!

I have £21.97 in ebay bids at the moment. I'm still going to list my 100 items later this evening. I'm actually quite proud of myself, I have some things that I'd love to keep but have decided to part with, it's pretty rare for me to sell my own stuff on ebay. The hardest thing to part with is probably a gorgeous dress (more of a gown really) I bought a few years ago... cost £130 and has never been worn because I bought it on the internet and it was far too big. Have kept it hoping I would one day fit it but that hasn't happened so far. Am trying to decide what to start bidding at or whether to do a buy it now and at what price... not sure yet.
    Finally bought a home
