Hi Hayley & Jen
Thanks guys. Im just so down today, i am on the brink of tears and I was up most of last night either worrying or having horrible dreams.
Yep, it should go from my credit file in 2 years. Using the time to get a deposit is a great idea Hayley, and thats something I am trying to tell myself, and some of the defaults may have dropped off as well, but its hard.
You know when you feel like you are getting somewhere, and all of a sudden the carpet gets pulled from under you?
I know i was stupid regarding debts and money when i was younger, and now im paying for it.Debt: just my mortgage0 -
Amy don't be too hard on yourself, i was useless with money when i was younger too, my drawer of bills was ridiculous, but we are all on this forum because we want to sort out the mess we have got ourselves into. You have done so well lately Amy, I really hope you don't let whats happened stop you. You have been an inspiration to many on this forum, the way you have tackled your dates lately, remember that.
Time to SMILE now Amy, Its FRIDAY :j :j0 -
AMY-You have been an inspiration well said Hayley I want to second that you have been a complete insiration and support to a lot of us on this and many other boards. i hope that put the smile back where it belongs.!

Hi All
Well i have just taken 1/2 day from work, going food shopping and blitzing my flat.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I definitely agree with the whole "its better out now, then next year when i try and get a mortgage".
At least I can address everything before i send an application in.
Some good news - i called the Housing Association and they have said they WILL accept me with a CCJ but that I need to get a mortgage (so to speak to a financial advisor etc.). I spoke to one briefly and she said to definitely wait until next year to see if i can get a mortgage as the credit crunch has made lenders very strict, but she said its not completly hopeless.
You never know, i may not want to get a mortgage next year, i may want to wait another year until the CCJ has gone.who knows.

I have been shopping and I have spent 2 weeks money instead of one! I did however get 2 weeks worth of chicken (what the cats eat, at £8.40 a week that isnt cheap!) and i got them a litter tray that is enclosed (because they flick it EVERYWHERE and it gets stuck to my feet :rotfl: That was £12, but i have enough food to get me through (i have bread, milk, eggs, chease, sausages, pasta, beans and ice cream!). Im sure it will be fine!

So, what are everyones plans for this lovely Friday evening? I have no plans whatsoever tonight, which is probably a good thing as the £££ are a little tight at the moment. My OH has gone to London tonight with his mates and not back till tomorrow and my mates are all spending time with their partners, so that leaves me doing absolutely zilch.
I might catch up on my missed Eastenders episodes on bbc i player, my sister said Bradley and Stacey get back together, and me being sad i wouldn't want to miss that important moment :rotfl:
The only DFW thing i have done today is not eat any lunch today and waited till i got home to eat, saved me £4 so thats good :j
Amy - good shop there, the Ice Cream sounds yummy!!! Your cats are spoilt rotten - lucky cats!!!0
