I have bought some cream to go with the Manchester Tart (by the way, TNG - what sort of tart are you thinking of?!)
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
The full sentence was going to be "Like the sound of Manchester tart, did anyone get her name?", but I thought better of it......:o

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but summer has been here for a while now 'coz I've been listening to a Cuckoo for the past two weeks  And I can't remember who asked, think it was Squiggly?, but the Owl that was hoo-hooing was probably a Tawny, probably a female but I know better than to risk the obvious sexist gags with you lot
Twink - the hobnobs went down a treat at work this morning. Everyone was impressed, the Boss seriously so

((penny pincher))
Have dough for a dozen rolls in the bread machine as the ones I did yesterday were so popular.
Have home made lentil soup left from last night for DH and will make stuffed tortillas for DDs later.
Might start to knit another hat tonight and can hear DH clattering around in the kitchen.
DD is sulking because she changed the password on her new laptop, did not note it down and now cannot remember it.
She has been trying to access her lapop now for over two weeks and is furious with us all - not sure why her faulty memory or poor judgement is our fault!!!
I was going to suggest trying a local computer specialist to help her but I do not know if they could do anything as the only problem is she does not know the password!!!!!
Going to have a shower and clear out of the way for half an hour as the sulking leaves me stressed!"This site is addictive!"

Does anyone else end up with a weird lunch in the interests of either using stuff up, or their health?
I have in front of me a dinner plate with the following...
2 big cherry toms
Lettuce
Balsamic vinegar sprayed over them, also S&P.
Some cold broccoli from last night
Roasted red pepper hummus HM
The end of some tuna and sweetcorn I mixed together the other night for something.
I supppose you could loosely describe it as salad."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
