Taxi driver told me today he was paying 95p a litre for diesel from a place near the airport, I think he called it Clarks. He claimed it was totally legit - he had a nice car and said it had been dipped by Customs and been in the garage for a service with no issues. Sounds just too cheap to be legal. Anybody else heard about this place?

I'm going that direction tomorrow, does this place sell petrol cheap? what's their fuel like, is it good stuff?

Anyone spotted a filling station at the 99.9 pence per litre for petrol yet?

Yeap, seen two today, one on the Crumlin Road, facing courthouse. The other was at the bottom of the Shankill Road. Petrol 99.9, diesel was 110.9

  • Just went past my local one on the Doagh Road beside Iceland - Diesel £1.11 and petrol 99p! Happy days - roll on when diesel gets below the £1 - will be a while yet though.

Anyone seen any other newtownabbey / north belfast ones for 99.9 or less ? Need to fill up later on the way home from work.

Is the one at the bottom of the doagh Rd still 99.9?

  • Also anyone noticed what things are like across the border at the minute? Going through Aughnacloy tomorrow and was wondering whether it's worth nipping across to fill up or am I better in the supermarkets in the North?
