GO in Cookstown (just inside the Cookstown town boundary on the Cookstown to Moneymore road) was down to £116.9 for Diesel on Sunday!
GO is a newish filling station which is purely self service. You pull up at the pump put in your card (Debit, CC card or whatever) and PIN then pump away. No shop, cashier or anything, a bit different but the fuel cost difference is unreal. Asda were the closest price to it and they were £121.9 at the time.
Always worth a look if you're in the area.0 -

There seems to be a bit of a price war in Dungannon at the moment. Tesco and Sainsbury both at 118.9 for diesel and 106.9 for petrol (I think). Are they charging the same elsewhere?0

Try and avoid the Shell garage on the Moira road heading towards Lisburn, I think it's called Broomfield. They've been at 126.9 for Diesel for ages up to and including Friday  no wonder the place is always empty when I pass heading to and from work!0

Quick Diesel update:
Broomfield (Shell - Moira Rd) down to 122.9
Ballinderry Cars (Moira Rd) down to 119.8
Hendersons Maxol (A29 - Tamnamore) down to 118.9
The above are all ones that I pass frequently so will continue to update these along with others if they are of any use to anyone?0 -

Sainsbury's are doing a discount deal - 10p a litre off with £50? grocery bill; yesterday 37.85 litres was £41.30 - £1.092 per litre net.
This week the discount is only 5p per litre AFAIK; but still a nice saving.0 -
Just to correct the above, it is Broomhedge not Broomfield.
I checked Sainsburys Sprucefield yesterday morning and it was at 120.9, there's certainly cheaper about.
Didn't get a Tesco voucher with today's home delivery either, not sure of their 5p off promotion has finished, anyone else have any ideas?0 -
I filled up outside Dundalk this morning on the way to Dublin, worked out at £1.02 a litre for diesel, saving around £7 on the fill compared with the cheapest price locally here and saving a lot more compared to some of the real rip-off merchants around.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0
