I've been using the Grand Parade filling station for about 2 years now, never had an issue with their diesel in the car I have now nor with their petrol in my last car.
The only thing that annoys me is their cash machine goes into a restricted mode from 7pm to 7am every day.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0 -

Hi,
Petrol prices now falling fast ,Local prices now cheaper here than Donegal allowing for exchange rate!
Diesel prices still very high here but petrol prices & diesel prices are about the same in ROI. Why the great difference in diesel prices here?0 -

Grand Parade! - where I grew up! If by ladis drive (ladas!) you mean the Mount Merrion station at the end of the road at the Cregagh/ Ladas/ Merrion roundabout, THEY were just cited in a UTV news report this week as one of a number of stations across Belfast selling dodgy diesel! My brother always buys cheap in Ballysillan area, but he's petrol, which is never laundered.
I live in Banbridge now, and use my Maxol card in Dundalk about once a month, filling about 4 big cans each time. Came on here to check prices since the euro is SO low now, BUT I have grave reservations about ANY independent garage in the north. Anything genuine is still too expensive for me. Suppose it's still worthwhile travelling, even with the 24 mile round-trip! Timewise it's a snip, with the new roads. Even were I to get £103.9 here, my entire fill, including diesel there and back, would still save me £16! Though I remember saving £40+ not that long ago!! Just shows you how much tax we, sorry, YOU pay at every pump!!!0 -
There's no filling station at the roundabout now. There's still one opposite the old fire station and then there's the Ace Garage.
I'm not sure where all the garages that were raided were, but I know one of them was on the Beersbridge Road as it's pumps are still closed. They've to prove that they'd paid duty on the fuel that was seized.
I hope they are proved to have been legit, as I've bought a few times from them.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0 -
