    Hello everyone,

Well it's lovely and sunny here. :p:D Well it was today, it's night time now. I finished making my ironing board cover which turned out very nice. Did some baking, a batch of gingernuts & an impossible pie. I also went out in the garden for an hour or so to do some weeding. Tea was curry & rice. Bit chilly here atm. Winter is on it's way.

JackieO I'm so happy that finally you see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for being such an inspiration. :A
Almo  :j :D Some people on here  do gang up on me :D so it's so nice to have an ally now. Edited to say I just read yesterday's thread & you are a british expat living in Melbourne. :o

Before I start...the question that must be asked...what underwear did you buy in the end yesterday Martyn? :D Enquiring ladies want to know...:A

Miserable and wet here in Cambridge today. OH has another driving lesson tonight, so while he is whizzing around Cambridge I will be using up some of the veg in the fridge and cupboard to make more soup to stick in the freezer, and some pasta sauce to go in the freezer as well.

    Teabreak over, work calls!

((((((HUGS)))))))) to all who want/need them :)

*EDITED AT LUNCH TIME TO ADD - Have now read this thread properly and just wanted to say "way to go" to JackieO :)*

    Afternoon everybody :hello:

Hugs to Penny-Pincher!!, smokybabe (I know you lurk and thank people even if you aren't posting much at the moment) and anybody else who needs them.
JackieO, I'm thrilled for you that the end is in sight on the chemo :j :j Here's to a full recovery
    redruby - happy listening :D

I'm currently in the middle of my busiest week of the month at work - more so than usual, as I have to meet a deadline by Friday instead of Monday thanks to the Bank Holiday - and I still seem to be spending the majority of my time sorting out information from people who don't know their rear end from their elbow.

I have errands to run at lunchtime - still didn't get that birthday card for my sister, and it needs to go off first-class today as her birthday is tomorrow. And I have two cheques totalling £360 sitting in my handbag waiting to be paid in - the older and larger of the two has been there for a whole month  and here was I wondering why the amount in my current account was so low already, so soon after payday! So a trip to the bank is definitely required as well.

Off for a singing lesson this evening, and when I get home I have to finish off my latest review and do a bit of cooking before certain things go off. Main course tonight is taken care of - chilli, which I took out of the freezer this morning.

See you later, love Rzl xx

    Hello all !

Weather here very wet....just when I thought it had changed for the better.........!
Had a meeting this morning then disappeared into our built in cupboard in the bedroom...............most of it is my sons stuff (wonder if he knows half what he's got ?) Most of it got put back but some I'll send on to him and managed to make space for shoes (on one of those hanger things with pockets) and a couple of coats and bags.............drawer under my side of the bed was also full of art stuff of my sons, found three brand new towels, grandma's old bloomers (the ones with lace round) and her needlework case she made !
    Worn out now !

Have a good day and if you go out take a brolly.......you may well need it !
Hugs (((((((((((((:o )))))))))))))))) to all those who need them

Have just baked a dozen rolls and sampling one now:j .

The lentil soup is simmering in the slow cooker. The hob has been cleaned and the dirty dishes etc have been washed.

Dashed out in the rain to rescue the washing which is now on radiators so sitting here with a pot of tea ready to look like I have been working fingers to the bone when DD and DH get home!;)

Might make DD stuffed tortillas when she gets home as she is not keen on soup.

Window cleaners came this morning so it rained just after they left!!!
