Must only buy milk......Well might have a quick peep at Whoopsies then off to Gym to work it all off:rotfl:Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

I got Taste the difference pizzas for £1 instead of £4.99, TTD pork loin that was £9.99 to 80 p. TTD BBQ chinese ribs £4.99 per pack to 80p times 2, salmon flakes £3.25 to 50p, TTD salmon £4.99 to £1,TTD quarterpounder burgers £4.99 to 69p, anyway the list goees on
I had to fight with the freezer as i got some whoopsies the other day in Asda but I was determined and I won:j there is no possible way that anything else can fit in(thinking of buying a bigger one:D ) but I was well covered and even relaxed now as we were going to have a BBQ on the bank holiday and was wondering how we could afford it but now at 80p a go for the meat, let's have 2:D

In Lush Belfast.I'm a trainne solicitor with fees to pay so I kept my saturday job on. GC aim, along with other cut backs, is to allow me to give up sats as as on 16 June will be in office 5 days a week again (have been at uni 4 days a week since Jan). And by uni I don't mean actual uni I mean 9.30- 4.30 lectures with lunch break! Copin ok with 6 days but means not a good social life as can't go mad on fri as work on sat and not in from work till 7 on sat. Also OH ends up doin far more houswork than me. Gettin really fed up.
I'm payin £300/month into fees a/c so can pay invoces as they come istead of a loan. I know I'll be in a better posistion than most when I finish just hard at the mo.
That was a bit of a rant!
Any way went to tesco tonight and got a lot of drink as it was on offer, not GC money. Peach scnapps for £8! Absolute vodka £10, £5 off.
Got fish fingers (youngs 1.49 for 20), milk, reduced lemon dusted cod fillets in freezer for next month (4 for 2.50) and a wee sushi pack each as a sturday treat - 99p each but cheaper than orderin some!

Hi All
Just updated my signature and still seem to be on track.
Welcome YoungBean – you definitely come to the right place for help and advice. I wish I’d had the sense to do this challenge when I was 21 – I must have wasted thousands of pounds over the years.
To keep track of my spending I use Spendingdiary.com – recommended by someone from this site, but sorry, can’t remember who. It’s great for keeping track of your spending – you set up your own categories (I have food, home, toiletries, plus a separate category for each family member for things like clothes and other personal items. At the end of each month I print out the summary of the month’s spending to compare with previous months and find it really useful.
There are lots of recipes posted in this monthly challenge thread that you will find useful, and lots of other recipe threads, including the slow cooker one, which is very handy as you can set it going in the morning then come home to a meal ready for you when you walk through the door - stops that 'too tired to cook, let's have a takeaway intstead' moment!;)0 -

Good evening,
Our total is up to £135.84. I am awaiting a Mr T delivery for monday. Most of the stuff are Bogof for the next few month. All depends how I do with the budget until next sunday, I either include it into this month GC or spread it over the next 2 month.
EgonI wish Germany had a website like moneysavingexpert!0 -
Heya everyone!!
Sat down with the OH, and devised a meal plan for the next week.... goes a little like:
Sunday: Roast chicken, mash potato, roasts, veg, stuffing and gravy
Monday: Chicken curry (using spare chicken), rice and naan bread
Tuesday: Pork Steaks, mash and veg
Wednesday: HM burgers and HM chips
Thursday: Gammon Steaks, eggs and HM chips
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Am at home with the folks, so they will be feeding me!!
Jotted down all of the things we need for the week, we spent £26.61!! We were both really suprised.
And to celebrate, the OH made a batch of Cheese Scones from ingrediants in the back of the cupboardRather yummy too
