I just wanted to say you have done so well hun, you should be so very proud of yourself. You have cleared so much debt this year, and you have worked so hard to achieve this.

As for tips its just the usual really, keep an eye on what you spend, but dont beat yourself up if you do spend on extras. I still spend on lunch sometimes, or going out to the cinema. Or on dvds, which are my weakness! lol But you have to, otherwise it all gets depressing. Just adjust the budget accordingly. And then try and stick at it. I have a very pretty and colourful budget that keeps me on track, and really has helped me know where everything is going, and i have also done a 2009 and 2010 version so i can see when I will be debt free, and what my savings will look like (i know its sad but it gives me something to focus on).

awww honey i am sooo pleased for you.. im even excited for you! it must be such a great feeling. i know it wont take you long to clear the rest of your debt.

just so you know, we have received a break down this morning of what 6,600 pounds was for and its covered everything, just like they said! im still going to wait though until we have completely moved in before tackling the debt. well at least till next week! i feel like i want to catch up with you

oh also, we are waiting for a phne call to let us know whether we can have the keys to the new flat TODAY (YAY!) or next week (i know thats when its going to be and itll kill me if it is!)

Oh thats brilliant news that it is all covered in that £6600! Im so glad. I would probably hold onto the money until then too, just in case! (im such a worry wart!).

Oh my god, fingers crossed that you get the keys today... you never know! Oooo i really hope so. You know I felt like today was going to be a really good day, and so far its been brilliant. :j

You will deffo catch up with me in no time. It can be like a little mini debt paying off race! :rotfl:

yeah that would be good!! especially as your way ahead of me (for now )

so im sitting here really not knowing what to do today. this phone call will mean 1. quick pack everything we can start moving in!! or 2. we cant pack anymore as were not moving in till monday/tuesday so then im sitting here till then twiddling my thumbs and generally just moaning and complaining like a 2 year old to hubby!

I am so impatient, I would be so annoying if i had to wait for that phone call! I drive myself nuts at times! lol. I take it you will know by 5.30pm today? Lets hope its earlier.

Hmmm no real plans this weekend. Tomorrow is my day of lazing around with the cats, and my dark secret that I do every saturday (ok its not that dark but I havent told anyone why I cant leave the house between 10am and 2.30pm! :rotfl: ). My sister is coming over Saturday evening and I am cooking Salmon Tikka Jamie Oliver Stylee and getting a DVD to watch.

Sunday - nowt planned at the minute, so we shall see.

What about you (apart from moving in if you get the phone call!)
