I'm sure I could find a VERY safe place to store chocolate biscuits, one you could never get them from :D

Now, OO, you have a challenge to stick to.......no biccies for you, even in the interests of saving a fellow DFW from gorging!!!

OH has a whole inbox full of surveys - they seem to be bombarding him at the moment.....sadly he is screened out of most of them, but he has accumulated a reasonable amount over the last few months and managed to cash in about £50 one way or another, so not bad!!

I will just have to be thankful for my 20p today.....even though I can't withdraw until I have £25 :o

Eat nettles.......raid neighbour's cupboards for food they won't notice is missing.......pickle snails........freeze bananas.......and mix custard with melted chocolate and freeze in ramekins......

    ........that's about it so far!!

    Hi guys,
read a bit of the postshere. My it mounts up quickly doesn't it- hundreds of posts in days (and a fair few on biscuits;))!

Thought I'd better reassure you that from the consumer's side of things (I am Weezl's OH) things aren't extreme at all . Whilst we have benefitted from other's generosity occasionally, it's all a bonus as the planning is the thing that keeps cost down :money:. I am completely fussy, so although the recipes are sometimes different from ready meals or delia, they're not austere or disgusting, just creative ways of making nice food I'd eat. Nettles- just like spinach when cooked:D, snails:eek:- I am Never going to touch them and have heard no suggestions otherwise. Chocolate and custard pots, yum! :j

Just to reassure you that our food is not cardboard and I am not scrabbling around bins, a quick check of the freezer/(menu) shows such delights as:
Sausages with garlic and rosemary mash
Pasta with sundried toms and pesto
    Sag Aloo
    Apple bhajee
    Sage and cheese quiche
    Coconut and rose petal fudge
    Steamed jam puddings
Homemade bread with houmous or pate
    Kalonji Naans :T

    Not a gastropod in sight!

Just found your daily task list hypno, you're amazingly productive, the thread name ain't wrong! Feeling a little ashamed of my unproductive day now :o.
