My flask broke at the weekend, so my ability to transport nice "almost free" coffee has gone - I need to hunt for a reasonably priced, reasonably sized one in my lunch hour.
Get a stainless steel one. You'll never break a flask again.
OK...it might go a bit misshapen if you club someone to death with it - but it won't break..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hi Z!
I have a small stainless one (with the dent in, you'll be pleased to know!) but it only holds one cup of coffee which is no good to someone who drinks as much in a day as I doI will be hunting for a larger version of that for sure.
The old one I have just thrown away has lasted for many years, so I got my money's worth really.......can't complain!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

- [strike]check online banking and mark off against "bills still to be paid" list[/strike] DONE - shortfall has been reduced to £194, so getting there!

- [strike]clean main bathroom[/strike] DONE
- [strike]clean en-suite[/strike] DONE

Great news that your OH has two interviews! So you won't be requiring my services as hit-woman after all. How did you get him to apply for the jobs - or did you do it for him?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi El!! It is amazing what the knowledge that someone is coming to stay in 24 hour can do for the housework efforts!!!
Deadlines - that is obviously the secret - not deadlines that we impose ourselves, they are obviously "shiftable" but deadlines that other people give us.......brings out the "productive" side of me (after a little panic, and not a small amount of procrastination!)
doodledo and Seaxwyn - I am very pleased OH has interviews - but it is not through efforts of going out and looking for new jobs, they are for the people he does his 2nd and 3rd part time jobs with already, just on a full time basis I think......I am still trying to "encourage" a trip around the agencies :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hello Hypno :hello:
Well I took your advice & haved decided to de-lurk (not a real word I'm sure), so here I am.
I subscribe to this thread & have read most of the one prior to this one, so I think I'm up to date.
Thanks to reading about you (& some of your regular contributors) I have signed up for Quidco & also Betfair, which I wouldn't of even known about without following your exploits, have only done my car insurance so far (through Quidco) but did have a little bet on the Euro 2008 final (still need to get my head round the finer points of "betting" & "laying" )
I assume you still do the ink cartridge collection / recycling thing, are Brother cartridges any good before I throw them away.
