I arrived home from work to find that hubby had finished work early & been allowed to bring all the scrap wood home from work, his brother gave him a lift home with the wood & loaned him a Plasload & now I have a huge raised bed to plant my veggies in!!!!!
I'm so happy & so pleased, my hubby is an absolute star.

Good afternoon all.
Well, the dentists was fine! He was able to do the root canal without any numbing injections, and it didn't hurt! Was also seen half an hour early since I was there and he had a spare moment. Really really pleased.

Evening all
Very quick post as taking DS to karate. PENPIN sorry to here your news.
Had a lovely redpepper and tomatoe soup for lunch, then steak, salad and a baked potatoe for tea.
I am so shocked at the price of food  . Have made some bread by hand but I really miss my bread maker. Might have to fork out for one just to do dough.
Have a good evening all.

I can't believe that I've been trying ot post on here all day and only just managed to sit down on my own for 5 mins. DS is poorly again and had the day off school, took him to the docs for another round of anti-biotics. Didn't manage to get anything much done today but everyone has been fed several times and bathed so I guess that's a bonus
I'm off to watch a bit of telly and maybe read a bit of my ever-lasting book (I can only read a page or two before nodding off!).
Hope everyone has had a lovely Monday :jCC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

All fed and watered here, had yesterdays beef cold with mash peas and pickle, I swear meat always tastes better the day after its cooked, still a load of beef left, which I have cubed and put in the freezer with some chillis, ready for a curry next week.
Rzl, I spent a lovely afternoon pottering in the kitchen opera on, and reading your notes, I won't pretend to be an expert (yet), but its nice to know what they are singing about, once you know the story you sort of know which bit is which iykwim

hope everyone has good evenings.
