    :hello: Evening everyone!

Well im pretty much prepared housework wise for my brother and sister in law coming down from Aberdeen on Friday. Not quite sure what to cook though so will have a think when at work tomorrow. Been to my daughters youngest grandson cleaned the kitchen for her and lit the fire. Not bad for a 16 year old. A lot more caring than his older brother who I love but dont like what he is doing at the moment.

Mudbath Sending you some attitude for tomorrow. Hope you are still looking after that thumb and hand.

    Poohbear59 Hugs for you.

Pigpen Sending budget vibes to you. Two children? lol

Ashbart Have just done my Eft practioners course. Working on my case studies. Do you use it a lot?

    Susieq Hi and welcome.

    Pink Fairy Hugsto you.

Soapie Big hugs for you too.

    Take care everyone.

(((pinkfairy))) and also for your poorly offspring

(((dusty))) - which year is your DS in? I know you've said before, but my brain cells are on go slow this evening. Would he respond to bribes? Or a kitchen timer on for 10 minute at a time? 10 mins revision, 10 mins off, and so on, for an hour or half an hour to start with? I have had to do this with DS1, although I'm a bit indulgent, because I know his illness is partly the cause of the inability to concentrate. Would he prefer to revise online, bbc bitesize, or s-cool?

    (((soappie)))

    (((poohbear)))

(((lil_me))) I couldn't do what you do. Just keep right on with pursuing your dream as you'll get there, I know you will.

Congratulations to nicki on the weightloss, that's fantastic!!

I'm really sleepy, and have another huge mountain of washing up to do. Everyone was out early this morning, so I came home to all the dishes and did that only to have all the dinner things to do now...why oh why did I think there wasn't room in the kitchen for a dishwasher when we fitted it??

I have washed the main bedroom linen, but that's about it today.

A couple of tough lessons today, not much helped by the fire alarm going off during break while it was chucking it down with rain. We all knew it was a fault, as it had happened during the night as well, but we still had to go ahead with the drill. So, the kids were all as high as kites, and I was very grumpy without my coffee. Trying to get them settled was a complete waste of time... I spoke to the head of dept about the group because they were just awful, only 12 of them stayed in the room, and the rest were in and out, and only 6 did any work. As they are Year 10, and most of the boys are very much bigger than me, there isn't a great deal that I can do to stop them walking out...

Happily, the rest of the day went better, as I was doing French. There's a chance that I may be offered some long term supply to cover the absent French teacher, so as long as I don't have to do too much of those horrible RE and PSE classes, that's fine!

Bit annoying on the timing, as I had to write and cancel a provisional language course I had booked as I couldn't afford it when the grant was refused, and now it seems I might have managed after all. Ah well, stick it in savings, and keep for next year!

:hello: hello to suzieq and all the other newbies - I forgot to write all the names down while I was reading the thread, so I can't remember you all - I'll try and do better next time!

Thank you everyone for the hugs - they are needed - I am fuming at myself... and have decided the best thing to do is go to bed. I will have an early night and will be able to smile again in the morning.

Right, I'm off for a bath and bed. Ebay listings will have to wait until tomorrow to do as I can't mentally cope with more turbolisting tonight. :o
