Well, I did clear clutter out of the bathroom... I havent done much more today as I've been really shakey since finishing work - it's a bit wierd actually... Been getting some nasty pains in my middle too, ones I havent had in years since I was in hospital.. (I was pretty ill a couple of years ago, for clarity lol)

So, yes, i did manage to clear some clutter... And the curtains are so not my territory, i'll back off from that one a bit. lol.

(((hugs))) to all that need them!

Thought i would pop in and save you all worrying about me. ;) I have been trying to rest today. Ds has been sat in front of a couple of hours of videos, had a 3 hour kip, and been an energetic but not too bad boy. I am still in a lot of discomfort, but apart from some vigourous wriggling and a few infrequent pelvis pains, nothing to report. I wish something would happen either way. Will keep you all updated, but won't be flying, and won't be around too much cos it hurts to sit upright at the computer.

    waves to everyone.

    hello to suzieq

hugs to pink fairy - i hope your concerns about your childrens health ease soon, and that the job situation becomes less stressful. Teaching of any sort is far too demanding on its own without other worries.

soappie - sorry your SC demised. I managed to crack my inner bowl last year, and ended up just throwing the bottom bit. My new SC is not as good - the seal is poor so too much water can evaporate on a long cook so i won't leave this one on when we are out working. OK for a short outing.

Right, need to hang up that load of washing still - get DH to wash up (punishment as he only came in from work at 9pm and he knows what agony i am in for putting DS to bed etc. - and it is punishment as i haven't done any all day)

Then it is bed for me. I am so exhausted at the moment it is untrue.

Evening to anyone who's still up.

Done a general S&S today. (Need to pull my finger out)
Piddled it down so had to put clothes in the TD.
Fingers crossed for sunshine in Yorkshire Tomorrow.
Got a spot of baking done this evening, victoria sponge and the ovaltine loaf mentioned on another thread (which disappeared before it even had chance to cool!).
Well, I'm going to finish my wine and toddle off to bed.

(((hugs))) to all who need one.

Pink, big hugs, things can only get better as they say
Dusty I'll be honest parents talking to me about revision made me do even less, in a sense there is only so much preparing you can do, for some it just makes them worse. I did well and didn't revise much at all :o
hugs for soappie, thanks for your advice aswell, makes a lot of sense. Hope you feel better in the morning.
serena, big respect for you today, I don't know how you manage with teenagers, I remember we were a nightmare when there was a false fire alarm (we had some lads doing it to steal from left belongings which was awful!), I think I will stick with aiming for primary teaching....
Michelle, pleased to hear you have been resting
Welcome to all the new Flyladies :)
pigpen, sending positive money vibes to you xx Thanks so much for holding the fort at the minute aswell, you're a star.
poohbear, well done to your son, one worry which is slightly less then. Never gets any easier does it? Yes unfortnately as soon as he leaves full time education you would loose the CTC and CB for him, of course he needs to be made aware of this if he isn't already so he knows he needs to contribute.
Mudbath good luck with the school issues, I remember a reason they gave me for persistantly excluding DS1 was the other children were entitled to a quality uninterupted education (the fact his behaviour is massively better of course goes to show part of it may have been caused by school in the first place) but surely that applies in this case?
Anyone heard from AnW'sMum? Just seems to be MIA

Right assignments gone! Didn't do all of it, some I gave up on, it goes off an average scores for the tutor marked stuff, I have enough from the last one to cover for this one almost completely if I get no marks which is a relief. But bums :( they've just sent the exam dates, so I am a little, flustered, not for many months yet (October) but as soon as I hear that exam word I panic. Anyway, next assignment needs studying for and I am planning a study schedule tomorrow, then telling DP what I am doing and what he needs to do. He has been nicer since I got back this evening but will take a lot more than that.

Booking hairdressers appointment tomorrow as I didn't realise they closed earlier on a Wednesday so missed them, I will do it and I will resist cutting my fringe as an excuse not to, even if it's driving me barmy.

Went and bought DS1 even more school trousers tonight, I've bought him 4 pairs in the last 2 weeks that he said fit when he tried them on, they seem to be fine then when he got home said they don't and won't wear them again! This time I made him put them on without undoing them (they have elastic he won't wear ones without it) to prove they fit. I've got a feeling it's because they are different to his other ones, so he's just going to have to get over it now as he's cost me a fortune!

Right well in between study time I need to get sorted in the house, place is an absolute tip, generally clean but 'piles of things' everywhere, so I need to fit that in somewhere in the new routine as when I'm doing one thing at the minute I am doing very little of anything else.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning alll

Well its been a hectic time here. Couldn't sleep from worrying. Eldest daughter got punched in the face by a girl at school a couple of weeks ago. My DD didn't retaliate in any way. Anyway I rang the school and they said they would action it. They didn't come back to me. This other girl is a known trouble maker there isnt a week goes by when she isn't involved with at least one fight. Well last night she attacked my daughter again. This time on the bus on the way home she punched her in the face four times. She has a lovely black eye (my DD is 13). Well I had enough because obviously the school aren't doing enough to deal with this other girl, in my opinion she should have been excluded a long time ago. I have therefore contacted the police and they are now dealing with it. They said it is common assault. Funnily enough they even knew exactly where the girl lived and who her parents were. Sounds like there is a history there. Anyway I am hoping something happens this time. I am also going to go into the school this morning and stamp my feet a bit I think.

    morning all,

Had a deep, good night's sleep and am less grumpy about the slow cooker. Off up the road in a moment or two. I'm hoping that today I'll see the back of the project I've been working on for the last five weeks. I thought I was almost there yesterday but it wasn't to be. I really hope I get it finished today - I'm fed up with it now!

Have someone coming round to talk about the living room window this evening. He phoned last night with a quote which is very good so we'll look at materials and consider designs etc. I'm quite excited! I'm having french doors instead of the old original large sash.

But, better dash. I do hope those traffic lights aren't there this morning..

Hugs Sharon - you did the right thing going to the Police. Whatever you do, don't let them back down on charging her.
