Not fully caught up on the thread yet (in case anyone mentions who went on The Apprentice and I need to watch it first on i-player!)

Pigpen - thanks for the Red Bull with a Mars Bar and half box of Heroes it kept me going! Sorry but I ignored your advice, did the paid work last - system shuts down at midnight and got it in at 11.58pm - that was just cutting it a bit too fine! Managed the house clear up, 4 hour flight delay helped! OH now back and will be doing the flying for the next 4 weeks - apparently it only takes an hour (a week!) to do the house right through - he is going to soooooo regret that statement.

Lil_me - well done on getting the assignment finished. Is DP still doing it?

Pink Fairy & Poohbear - hugs - sounds like a very stressful time

Ash - how did the EFT go? I did it once and felt very awkward - it didn't help with the issue but I wondered if that was because I didn't really buy into the concept.

Well I think I missed an entertaining afternoon - Tia a nun, Pigpen 2 children and sane and whilst we are at it, I'm a domestic goddess!

I've been doing the Brit codes scratchcard thing everyday on the Co-op website and only have 5 points so far (not registered) so someone else may as well have them, PM me, first come.

I have a clean and tidy house (if you ignore the study and half the spare room) so need to do a couple of gardening jobs. OH can do the first cut of the grass - must be a foot high in places.

    Have a good day folks
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board

Soappie your savings are amazing, they're flying up :T

Dusty Poohbear I've done it again! WHY do I keep getting you two mixed up *tuts* I'd probably phone WTC/CB and tell them that he's leaving/left just so you don't end up having to pay money back to them. Hope he gets a job and starts paying you some board though, mine's been warned already but he's got an interview at College next week so hopefully I can carry on as I am money wise for the next two years.

    Morning all!

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday, cleaning tea from the PC/floor/me/DD2 took longer than I thought  Thanks for all the lovely welcomes!

So, about me.... I'm 28 (almost typed 24 then, I wish!), and my fiance and I have 2 gorgeous DDs, Elise who turned 3 end of March, and Keira, who is 5 mths old (and both totally scrummy!! :D )

ATM, I'm on mat leave, and trying to sort our finances/lives/head/house before I go back to work. I've always struggled to keep on top of the housework, even before having kids, so something like this will be fab! We're off to my Mum's in Northampton tomorrow for a few days, so when we get back on Tues, I'll come back and get started :T

I've set myself a grocery challenge of £250 this month too, so I think I'll pop that in my sig and keep track here, is anyone else doing one?

Pigpen - thanks for the crisps, are they Walkers Sensations? Mmmmm!

I must get in to the habit of thanking too, the other forum is similar in layout, same software as here, but the thank facility is disabled. I'm sure I'll get there though :o

Right, off now, DD2 has just woken up, DD1 needs getting ready for pre-school, and I have a friend coming for lunch, so lots of tidying to do, not to mention getting to Asda to return some disgusting tasting Jersey Royals (I was most disappointed  ) and pick up bread, milk, etc....

    Have a nice day all!!

What a week its been for us flyer eh!

Sharon big hugs to your dd you push it, its a disgrace what goes in in schools all because we are now becoming so politically correct. my dd was bullied for 2 years and in the end i had to shift her schools. It now costs me a tenner a week and i had to buy a car so i was 2k down for that too. where as before it was a 2 minute walk up the road:mad: . All i got was the bully has had it hard her mum and dad have split up. Right ok then, so she can punch and kick my dd to the point of bruising and drawing blood, as they were only 6 and 7 at the time no police involvement. I had the LEA involved and everything to find out that the Education Welfare Officer is all for the teachers and not the kids and parents. Great. After a meeting with the head that basically outlined all her crappy fault the EWO made no comment how could she they had been backed into a corner with no way out. Funnily enough about 6 month ago me and dd bumped into her old headteacher at Asda. She had the nerve to ask how dd was. To which i let dd answer and then added all the better for leaving your guidance!!!

Soappie iii for your slow cooker

Pink hope it starts to pick up for you hun big hugs xx

Pigpen big cash vibes coming your way hun xx

Michelle hope your feeling ok today, and bubs gives you a pain free day hugs xx

Johanne didn't get chance to say much this week, your dd is beautiful. I must admit i got broody thank god for the coil and vasectomy!!!:rotfl:

Mudbath hope your feeling better after your op.

big hugs to all that i have missed xx

Well for me i feel like crap, i have been down for a few days, i now know why, i have flu. Not just a cold but flu. I was shaking all night so i have had very little sleep, i ache all over and am running i a right old temperature and my glands are all back up again!!! Why can i just not get through a week without something. Since xmas i have had something at least once a week. I was a pretty healthly very rarely ailed anything but it just seems like i am being invaded by some unknown thing!

as for flying it will be steady away, will do as much as i can but nothing too dramatic
You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

I tend to do my months from payday to payday (hence why I already have £50-odd in my sig), and I know that I used to average £300 pm, so I'll see how it goes like you, as long as I can keep my weekly spend below £60, I'll be good!

I was actually going to draw £200 out of the bank, and keep it in a seperate purse, as I find it much harder being frivolous with cold hard cash, than plastic! :rotfl:

Snap re: the purse, I've dug an old one out and I'm gonna put £40 cash in it then whatevers left every week will go into a tin to roll over/build up for extras or something frivolous after 6 weeks or so.

Best get me socks and shoes on then head out to work.
