Hippy, thanks, I have no idea if he's still doing it, he did the assignment yesterday, I think he copied half of mine, will discuss it with him probably today aswell as the other stuff.
suzie there is quite a few of us use the GC thread
Sharon, well done for making sure something is done, with people like that you will usually find they are already known to police for one reason or another, her parents are possibly as bad as she is for breaking the law.
soappie pleased to hear you're feeling better this morning
rapheal ((hugs)) **kicks other ankle** see you can stop worrying about that one nowhehe, fingers crossed the builder is done soon, you've probably fell because you're tired.
Dusty, I think you're doing the right thing, let him make his own mistakes with the SATS, sit him down and say look I'm sick of nagging you, we've gone through the timetable etc with you, now it's up to you, if you need me I am here but I'm not going to nag you to study etc any more. Then he'll hopefully have learned from them before he takes his GCSEs. What a good idea splitting when they take the GCSEs, if I'd done mine over the 2 final years I'd have probably got better grades as I became more of a rebel in the last yearI remember when my Dad decided to back off from nagging me to study, did exactly that, that was when I then went to him for advice.
Ok ish start, the wm and dw are filled and on, dogs came with me to the school then we had a jaunt over the fields on the way back, found my walking boots so for a change my feet are dry but of course my legs are soggy. Hoping weather improves a little so I can get washing on the line today.
!!!! I didn't realise it was a bank holiday on Monday, oh no, children will be off school :rotfl: that means they can sort their own pooh holes (bedrooms) out over the weekend as I've just nearly broken my next gathering laundry up.....pests.
I need to get downstairs in some sort of order today aswell as working on May budget (better late than never) meal plan, study/daily plan and other such junk. My front hallway is a trip hazard, there are study books everywhere, dining table is burried, general junk everywhere....just got to decide where to start. Hmmmm, the sitting down stuff I think. I might need a snooze later, not had much sleep this week and still got this cold which is driving me nuts. One day I might be more organised...........

Ok. Work laptop froze again, sooooooooooooo coffee pots ready. Who wants :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:. I've also prep'd some cookie dough for Phil Vickery's Peanut and White Chocolate cookies. Nomnomnom! Later though, dough has to chill. Methinks, being as I'm working from home, and can put WM, TD on regularly, I might also make an Impossible Pudding for dessert tonight. I'll need it to keep me going - conference call to Milton Keynes for Fundraising Committee from 7 - usually about 2 hours! :eek:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Yup! I've had it since February, although strictly speaking it's called allergic rhinitis (according to my doc) as it has nothing to do with hay at this time of year.:o I've just ordered repeat prescriptions of eye drops, nasal spray and tablets. I take no chances as I'm asthmatic as well.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Morning everyone. Still hanging on in there, and lost some of the plug this morning (sorry if TMI) so hopefully things will make a move soon. I think i will be diving on DH, see of that speeds it up a bit.
He'll wonder what i'm doing as it has been a while.
Been productive this morning while the pains weren't as bad - ran the hoover around the kitchen/dining room/LR/hall, took DS out in the garden and let him bounce on the trampoline then blew bubbles for him to chase (no indoor mess) and now got him watching his DVD. We have also had the missing bit of MFI wardrobe delivered - fingers crossed this one isn't damaged. Also got some mince out for dinner. No menu planning here at the minute as i don't know what i will have the energy to cook, if anything, or even if we will be here. Makes it a bit hard.
sharon glad to see the police are taking it seriously. One thing my school does well is deal with bullies. We have a five tier system, and each incidence of bullying takes you up a tier - if you reach level 5 you get an ASBO. Scary stuff but we don't get many beyond level 3 when the police come into school to discuss things with them.
raphael rest that foot.
Right, DVD finished so best go stop DS messing on the DVD player.

I'm back from Asda with 3 pairs of new jeans : 2 pairs were half price so I bought both as my size and length leg were distinctly lacking throughtout the store;) 1 pair are really dark blue so they can be worn for nights out
and they're a size 18 and they fit :j:j:j:j:j First time I've bought size 18 jeans in about 4 years if ever
:D Also bought new bras but they're hopeless so I'm going to take them back tomorrow, there's more support in a wet paperbag and they're supposed to be sports bras! Looks like I'll have to get wired ones and remove the wires
So off to put the kitchen rug out on the washingline in the hopes it will blow through a bit, put the WM on a clean cycle to clear out all the bits of rug which have no doubt come off in it again  Then my new jeans are going in and then in the TD so I can wear them and put these ones which are too big on ebay tonight :rotfl::rotfl: Also need to put my old coat on freecycle as it would do someone for gardening or on their allotmentLaters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
