Well, do you have to post your progress on their thread or just in your signature? What if I'm not sure what to set my budget at and what happens if I go WAY over budget - which I'm likely to do as I know I spend lots..... I know these all seem like ridiculous questions. I guess I'm almost afraid to do it as I will be horrified at how much I spend. There you go, I said it.

    *Runs away sheepishly*

You dont have to post anything, usually for the first month it is recommended you just keep your receipts so you have an accurate idea of what you spend right now. Then set yourself a new lower target for next month. Its all about getting your spends down to a level that is comfortable and affordable for you. No-one on the thread will judge you for what you spend. Everyone has different targets and circumstances. I like to follow the thread as i get loads of good ideas from it, but you could just lurk if you wanted:confused: HTH

Thanks for the info, zarazara and dusty, I had a horrible feeling that was the case. DS2 has managed to get a part time job and has been promised more hours so that is one sorted. He did some voluntary work last week as I was sick of him being here and they were impressed and took him on.

Can I have a biscuit please pigpen, I've never had one before. I have done more today than ever before.

Aaahh.. but we haven't introduced ourselves.. how rude..

Susieq.. I am pigpen (cos I live in one!) I have 2 children (honest.. anyone who would have more than 2 is insane!!).. am perfectly sensible and nice. I give treats of dog biscuits to those who work hard during the day and get their lists done.. and am quite prone to chasing those who don't with my feather duster and fluffy mules!!

I'm tia and I am a nun who never ever ever thinks about that dirty sex stuff. :A

Hex, they were el-cheapos from the shop, kind of generic flavour... mainly sugar... Was good though!

I have a puppy with a bare botty... he did use the otty to go pee though. Am I mean that I cringe when he sits on my knee like that?

    Dinner on, sausages, beans'n'chips.

    Evening all

:hello: Hi to the new people

:grouphug: hugs to those who are poorly

Lots of KERCHINGs!! and postive money vibes to those who need some extra currency in their life. May you be granted all you NEED which of course may not necessarily be what you WANT but which will keep the wolf from the door.

Michelle - take it easy gal, you're going to have your hands very full very soon!

Mudbath - the one-handed massage thing - can you turn it into a new form of therapy? Use it as a marketing ploy? Something along the lines of using your good hand to do the work whilst using the poorly hand to make some sort of symbol (no - not obscene!), or in a pose above your head or something - then say that by positioning your poorly hand THUS during the treatment, you are encouraging the ley lines to divert so they flow through your body and out through your good hand and hence help your patient heal? What could we call it? iheike (one handed reiki?)? The hot stone independence statue therapy (you could hold a lighted candle in your poorly hand)?

Zara, I too would love to know what the Home Blessing thing is. It's something I feel I need sometimes!

    Lil-me - hope you're OK

Journey to work this morning took an extra 25 minutes because of the road works. We were queuing for two miles to get through one poxy set of temp traffic lights. Mind you, I ended up leaving five minutes later this morning (07:14 instead of 07:09 which I did yesterday) so that may have made a difference. But, there may be a glimmer of hope for tomorrow. On my journey home this evening, I sailed through the roadworks and suddenly realised I hadn't noticed any lights. So, I either jumped them, totally missed them because I was on autopilot and following the car in front or they have gone. I do hope it's the latter!

But, I must off and fly.

I need to do this evening:
    • Dyson living room
    • Muck out bathroom - including changing shower curtain and mats and putting the dirty ones in the wash.
    • Prep a mediterranean lamb stew for the slow cooker tomorrow
    • Cook bangers and mash for tonight
    • Put washing on airer to dry when done - the weather's too bad to put it out on the line
    • Feed the birds
    • Phone person I invited to lunch on Saturday to postpone to another date - I want to go to the local auction on Saturday - they have some stuff in their catalogue which I'm interested in and will bid on.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
