[It's not a pre-paid postage enveloppe, just an addressed, so best to stick in post with no stamp....
[if enough people do this they will either pay a fortune (£1.31 per letter) to get them (in case there is an order inside), or Royal Mail will get fed up handling unstamped mail that they might get off their fat ar53s and do something to stop these spammers/scammers.0 -
Hi everyone
I just found this site this morn and so wish i did a yr ago!
I receive letters from VITAMAIL and automated calls every 2weeks, stating i have def won £10.000.
I admit when i first started getting these letters i did purchase a few items that i need as i have a condition called Raynauds, but like all of you (except Pinkfish) my cheque was never in my parcels, so now i reply service without order.
I have been living in hope over the last yr that i do get my winnings as i had to leave my job a yr ago due to health reasons and i do have quite a bit of debt, so i think if i get this £10.000 then i can pay them off.
I received another letter yesterday which im holding in my hand now saying guaranteed payment by cheque in 2 days, but its clearly obvious that its never gonna happen!
Please tell me how they can get away with this??
PINKFISH, you have made 1 post saying you are a minority but have not deffended yourself since!!
So its clear to me that you are something to do with these nasty scammers!!
Let me ask you something, you lot must be making millions, how hard would it be to show your appreciation to all your loyal customers by giving us something back?0 -
Is this it.
http://money.guardian.co.uk/weekly/story/0,,1883968,00.htmlCompany: Vitamail
Prize £10,000
The lure: "The cheque for £10,000 has already been signed and is waiting to be sent to you." Personal notes from Vitamail's financial director/general manager Christopher Jones add to the sense of anticipation - everything suggests he's already written out a cheque with your name on it. And there's a "PS: I have just this minute learned your Certified Cheque is already ready!"
The cost: To get your prize you simply have to fill in a delivery authorisation which involves buying something from the catalogue. The company sells health products including garlic tablets, vitamins etc ...
Mailing address It operates out of a PO Box in Bedford.
Actual address Vitamail, which has also operated in Switzerland, is a trading name of a company called Promondo, based in Carros, south-east France.

I too have been sent one of these and I have ordered off them and they are still saying that they have 10,000 pound waiting for me and why havent I sent back forms to recieve it. I think that they are just saying that to get an order from you.

pinkfish57 wrote::j Well it looks like I am in a minority!! Had all the letters like others. I have never bought anything from Vitamail but have always sent my reply as directed on the instructions. Use a plain white envelope. Over the last few years I have probably spent at most £20 on postage. In February I had a letter saying I had won and could I send 2 pictures plus other details. Two weeks ago I received a cheque for £10,000!! I banked it quick and it has been paid so I paid off my credit cards!! Thanks Vitamail.Current debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)
