Morning all
hung some washing out while making a cuppa & although it looks overcast, it felt nice out, hopefully it will brighten up more later. I love the smell of sheets & towels when they've dried outside.
((((((((smokey))))) and for all others who need them. Hope those with poorly OH's/relatives manage to have a fairly good day.
Donny-Gal, hope the week goes smoothly for you too. N9eav - is that the first BBQ of the year then??? Sounds lovelyMartyn, glad you are stilll feeling brighter, sounds like you are able to move forward with a fresh start at work as well now then.
Happy Birthday Catowens' DD and to anyone else celebrating !! edit to add to Master Natzini too
Went to Mr T's & bought rump steak for supper (irish as it was on offer?) & it was gorgeous. Haven't had steak for years but after PenPin talked about it on yesterday's thread I really wanted some. It was an enormous bit so I have the other half for dinner todayAnd I was VERY un-OS (but only cos it was just me....) and bought a little tub of Colcannon so I have the rest of that too.
Have reserved a WiiFit at the Argos in town, so will go & pick that up at some point. Got my letters to do for the office, I may do half in a minute & the rest later. And seriously need to get going on essays now as time is running away.
Anyway, now I'm rambling, lol - have a good day everyone!Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -

Some ironing to be done and thats about it.
Hugs to anyone who needs one

Morning Everyone!
Positive wishes to all those who need it (and those who don't!)!
I'm still waiting for DH to wake up, but DD and I are having fun! We are supposed to be walking into town this morning to do some food shopping and I need to leave as early as possible before my ankles become cankles!
Hope that the nicer weather holds out for everyone and that everyone has a good day!!!0 -
Morning all.
Got a few things to do today. Done one already-wrapped OHs birthday presents up as it is his birthday today. He wont be up for a while, but when he does get up he needs to decide if we are going out for a meal or whether I will be popping out to pick up something nice to cook.
Also need to do some housework and check over some coursework before it is sent off.
Hugs to those who need or want.
Have a peaceful Sunday.

Good Morning folks,
Ironing done so far today.
Local farmer seems to have a bird scarer going bang, bang, bang and regular intervals, it is upsetting / scaring me and one of the cats, not too sure what I can do about it as it has only just started at 8.30am. The other cats is sat out side in the sun shine.
Off to clean out the fish pond today, I might be gone some time!!

Morning, up early again thanks to relentless pain in my arms, finnaly got an appointment to see consultant on 9th May, he will explain all about the ops I need. Sounds mad but I can't wait to have the ops.
Due to early rise I have cooked the chick and peeled all the veg, loaded dw and emptyed it, boiled split yellow peas which have soaked overnight and cooked yellow sticker bacon misshapes (79p)
Did 4 loads of washing yesterday so still more ironing.
Will meet friends in our local at lunch for a couple of pints, think I've earnt it.
Donny, have a fab time in France.
Thinking of you Smokie and PPin xx
Hope the hurt that lots of you are going through eases x0 -
good morning all. grey and overcast here in cardiff. slowcooker with beef casserole already on the go for dinner tonight. will serve with jacket potatoes.
children fighting already. baby was up alot in the night with a snuffly nose, and dd2 with a cough. at least they staggered their timings so there was only one time when they both needed me.
today we are going to soft play. hurruh. i hate it but at least it keeps them happy for a short while.
happy birthday to the birthday girl (catowen's dd) and boy (mr natzini). i also have to pay the deposit for dd1's birthday party - more outlay. <sigh>
hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Happy Birthday Miss Catowen and Mr Natzini!:bdaycake: :bdaycake:
Martyn - you sound really upbeat today! I think you've cracked it!
Betheebee - not long until your ops. I can understand you being glad when you have had them!
Can't remember if I gave Churchmouse her usual waves in my earlier post but, if not, here they are, and, if I did, then here's some more!:hello: :hello: :hello:
Weather has gone from overcast to slightly sunnier so I'm hoping the day gets better. WM and BM on, ironing board up, invoices ready to type out and DH cleaning both cars! Lucky me!
We're babysitting tonight so I shall take my knitting just in case the LOs don't wake up for a play.
Well, WM has just finished so I'll go and hang the washing on the line.
Catch up with you all later.

Good morning!:hello:
Happy Birthday to Miss Catowen and Mr Natzini!:bdaycake: :bdaycake:
Martyn - lovely to hear you sounding so much happier!
bethebee - Sorry you had such a bad night with your arms! horrible for you. I hope you won't have to wait too long for the ops.
HUGS to Penny-Pincher, Smokybabe and Mrs Mix - thinking of you.
It's dry here atm and DH is hoping to do some weeding this morning before the rain arrives. I'll be going to church, doing some washing, and cooking roast chicken later, but other than that will try to rest a bit as I'm looking after DGD tomorrow morning.
Will pop back later to see "what's occurring" (Anyone know if the first series of Gavin and Stacey is out on DVD yet?!:D )
Best wishes

Morning All
We had a very sudden start to the morning as Katy managed to pull the shower curtain rail down. How? I don't know, still it will keep hubby busy replacing it.
Welcome to Vampiric Addiction, glad to hear you've made a good start.
Hugs to Smokey, PP & Mrs Mix.
No idea what the plans are for today apart from rubber chicken.
Have a good day.
Hugs Hester
