Being a domestic goddess I packed stardrops, microfibre cloths & zorflora in my suitcase for the trip home. :D

YS is still asleep near the computer. Must be annoying him as he's rolled over twice. ;) Too bad. :D Off into the kitchen shortly so I can feed the lions for lunch. Lovely day outside. Boo Hoo. Have a good night sleep everyone & enjoy your holiday in Spain Granny. Fancy ironing your bikini. That's a bit OT. :D Byeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

well the girls have just left me with the washing up and the words "we'll let you do it ocs we know how fussy you are .... "

dinner was prawn cocktail, mussels, salmon and veg - by the time it got to dessert i was a bit worried it was going to be fishcake!!!!!! no it was all lovely really - the first time they've ever cooked a meal together for me. I got some avon stuff from dd(22), an hmv voucher from dd(18) and a poem from dd(11) - the poem is a bit dark actually - she said she tried to write about what a lovely person i am but couldn't so wrote some spooky horror thing instead.

oh just fiound the poem on the computer so here it is
    My poem

    No-one hears the sound,
    So they keep on talking.
    The footsteps become louder,
    But they carry on walking.
    As excitement fills inside,
    I bubble up within.
I think of all the things,
    That are just to begin.
It was all just to easy,
    As no-one looked behind.
    I thought of the signal,
And sent it through my mind.
    No-one saw the creature,
    That came from the door.
    Hatred opened within,
As people were dying more and more.

hmm - it's lovely i suppose but not what I expected when my darling baby sits down to write a peom about her mummy
well i will now tackle the washing up as well as cooking for a picnic tomorrow
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

donny-gal - thought you were in Holland when you mentioned Leiden the other day (your details say spain and I didn't want to show my ignorance :o). I've got a friend who lives in Leiden :)

Sorry to confused, we are currently on holiday in Holland, but we have a place in Spain as well as Yorkshire, so as we have recently been made redundant, now share our time betwen the two, SKI-ing, when we are not on holiday IYKWIM.
