    Morning lovelies :hello:

donny-gal - thought you were in Holland when you mentioned Leiden the other day (your details say spain and I didn't want to show my ignorance :o). I've got a friend who lives in Leiden :)

mummysaver - I looooved Blakes 7 - got them all on video and most on DVD :o. They've been saying for years that they were going to do a new one, so I'm not going to hold my breath.......

squiggly - :heartpuls (glad it went well ;))

    Shez - Happy anniversary

    (((hugs))) to everyone else

Quite a good day here, so were going to have a garden day. Having neglected it for the past xx years, we are slowly starting to reclaim it. Raised beds last year, this year going to try and get somewhere for the kids to kick a football without risk from nettles, brambles etc etc

dinner will be chicken pie (leftovers from last weeks sunday dinner from freezer). lunch for the kids will be 'breakfast mash-up' - beans sausage (the ones they didn't eat yesterday  ) and bacon in a dish topped with slices of potato

    Have a great Saturday y'all.

looby - never a peaceful day round here :rotfl:
:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood

    morning all,

Beautiful day here, got a wash on and 3 more loads to go in, so will try to get it all on the line this morning.

My cousin is getting married today, they have a nice day for it, we were invited to the recepction, but OH and I are not going, the bride (cousin is the groom) has put lots of conditions on the invite such as no one is to sit with anyone they know, everyone is to move around after 10 mins and find someone new to talk to, and everyone has to spend at least 10 mins talking to the bride  , they are having bacon sandwiches for the buffet, not my idea of a good feed. Any hoo OH and I decided not to go as it would cost too much, £100 + for the evening, so DD is going with her nan and auntie, so OH and I have a whole evening to ourselves ;) .

We are having a fish fest for tea, I still had some smoked salmon in the freezer from xmas, so have got that out, and will have some as it is and make up some salmon pate, ( haribos recipe I think ) we also have some prawns and smoked mackeral, and will have salad and crusty bread yum.

Going to go out walking today, will pack up some sandwiches, little dog needs a good walk, we just have a short walk during the week, and a huge long one at the weekend.

Dr who tonight :T :T my favourite programme of the week.

Oh I forgot to say yesterday, I sent an easter egg back to green + blacks as it tasted like sour milk, yesterday I got a parcel from them with a lovely letter, 3 hugs bars of chocolate, a box of mini choccy eggs, and a £10 voucher, excellent customer services. :T

OH has been doing the comps for a while, and yesterday an alarm clock arrived, with a note saying the weather station will follow, looks like we are on a winning streak will do the lottery tonight :D .

Mrs mix hugs to your dad xx
Smokey hugs to you and the children xx
    Congrats to the shez's xx
Squigly, glad the date went well x
    Hope everyone else is ok.

    Gone on a bit today haven't I :D:o

    Morning all

Can't believe I slept until 08.45. Oh the joys of children getting older. It's lovely here, washing will go out in a minute.

Will try and do an hour of filing today as I haven't done any since Christmas  .

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR AND MRS SHEZ  .

Our neighbours over the road have invited us to a barbecue this afternoon, don't know if OH is going as he has work tonight. Will make some rice crispie cakes to take in a bit. OH didn't get an interview for the job he applied for. Shame would have made life so much easier.

Think I have hayfever. Hugs to all who want one, especially SMOKEY. Haven't managed to read the thread from yesterday.

    Have a good day all.

Morning all! Late on here today because I woke in the night and couldn't get back to sleep so I came downstairs for a cuppa, went back to bed and the next thing I knew it was gone 7. Very late for me! I decided to get all my chores done before coming on her so I've had a shower, eaten and cleared up the breakfast things, pegged the washing out, cleaned the bathroom and prepped the veggies for tomorrow's dinner; DH has gone out on a quote so I have an hour or so to myself. He's quoting on moving an electric socket for someone so he said, if that's all they want doing, he'll do it there and then.

The weather is lovely already, isn't it?

SMOKEY and the LOs - thinking of you.

((((Hugs)))) to PENPIN, MARTYN and MRSMIX's Dad, and allthe poorly ones on here.

TRU - I'm glad your work is picking up. You do very well making about £40 a month on clicks and surveys. I keep giving up on them but, having read your post, I shall start up again! I do some internet research work which brings me in up to £150 a month in a good month and, now that DH's work is picking up, he pays me for all his admin, too.

MR AND MRS SHEZ - Happy Anniversary!

REDRUBY - that's a bit much, putting all those conditions on to wedding guests; they'll be lucky if anyone turns up! It would definitely put me off going!

RACYRED - so glad you are posting again!

    CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:

Well, I need to sort out the mail - the postman is always early on Saturday but really late during the week.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and that you all have this great weather!

    Hello possums,

We missed you Racy. I kept thinking where is that mad bird lady. :D We picked up YS this morning and went around DD. Got home at lunch. He had a nap & took Benny for a good walk, devoured tea in 5 mins and has gone to his brother's for drinky poo's. He will be punished. :p

Shez It's not winter here until June 1st. It's still Autumn atm. I hope she enjoyed herself. Happy Anniversary.
CM Hope you had a lovely family day & don't drink too much.
Johanne Congratulations. Hope all went well.
MrsMix  Hang in there. It must get better.
pink1970 Hope you feel better soon.

I've got quite a bit of baking to do tomorrow. I really should be in the kitchen now. (tonight) but after cleaning it up after tea I'm too weary. Hope you all have a lovely day & <hugs> to those down or ill. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    morning all

I have two birthdays like the Queen so today is my official one. I have to leave the house between 12 and 4 so the dds can do something - not sure what. I'm skinto so might just go to the pub and watch the footie. I do have to take the ice cream maker back to aldi as the motor doesn't work - stillwe made frozen yogurt yesterday - just had to remember to keep stirring it - it's lush

The parcel that I had to pay postage for turned out to be something from oxfam - they have written to me today to say tht they realised that they had made a mistake with the postage and that I should write back to them with the amount i paid and they will repay me - they have also sent some fair trade choccies. i'm not going ot ask for the postage back as I'm well chuffed with my bargains

My tent came yesterday too - it was a bit wet outside so we set it up in the living room - I love it. the one I had last year was so height challenged that it was christened the coffin and I spent many a night in it dashing out for gasps of air. Last year at reading festie I woke up to find that some joker had taken out all the pegs and that the tent had collapsed all about me - I think that this one will be a lot more stable.

happy anniversary mr and mrs shez - have a lovely time
Racy - on my way to work there is a little bridge over a river - last year I sat and watched a nest of coots hatching - when I checked on the way home some nasty person had chucked a ball into the nest and they were all gone - there's no nest there this year so they must have gone elsewhere.

Well must get on and clean the house so that the dds and dgs can mess it all up later :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Hubby asked if I'd bought marmite - I said no sell some of your body then I'll get some. heh ehh

Switched my leccy from Npower (boo hiss) to B Gas and have saved myself about £20 a month.

Well the house is clean, washing on the airer, dogs snoring so I'll see you all later!
