Beat Ya John ;D Found it to be cheaper than £26.32 :P
If you want it cheaper via boots points ..... try this, found on the freebie board....
just tried it and you get 1268 in points ;D umm now the maths bit £26.32 and that is without the cashback, which I think is between 1.5-2.5% depending on which site you use ;D
Opps ... forgot to mention the delivery charge (£3.50) which makes it £29.82 not including cashback .... or if you need some stuff from Boots anyway, there is free delivery for oders over £40
Just been on Boots and tried the code (NVEP72) but it said, not available at this time. I want one for my mum who's 60. However she goes off round the world (alright for some!) in a week with my dad so I need to get moving!! ;)
......Whoops :-[ I'd left a space after the code, done it now OK. Haven't checked out yet though so still interested in any ideas!!0 -

I saw this thread and have applied it with great success it does not get you the freeview but crystal reception on all terrestial channels and some selected satelite channels such as:
Sky News
ITN News
Discovery
Sky One {at the moment but this will go and be replaced by another}
No great shakes but if your problem is poor reception this is ideal.
By the way all the connections needed are readily available @ B&Q0 -
i ma taking the audioline freeview box back to asda tonight, not happy with the quality and the response time for the box todo anything.
anyone recommend the next best place tobuy a box with 2 scarts for under £40?0 -
Reestit has found one for £27.99 (inc p&p)...

Think you'll find the £27.99 is a DVD player - not a freeview box scaprd7. Been on the tipple ? ;) His cheapest is the Strong box for £37 from Richer Sounds.0

Chipz - Boots are still doing their Freeview box for £39 (see earlier threads), 2 scarts and very good box.0

TJ Hughes in newcastle are selling the same one that currys started selling (fergusion I think, with loads of channels) for £39.990

I have sky at home and another one in France (unofficially of course) they think it is a second box in the UK.
I am fed up with sky saying the second box is not connected to a phone line at home and charging me more for the privilege. Will a freeview box work in France if hooked up to the dish? If so, do I need to get a particular model? I would love to tell sky to "shove off"0 -
