FOr those who like Delicous Red apples they are on offer for 69p for 6 in Aldi but £1.88 for 6 in Morrisons.

I'd say chicken breast ranges from £6.49 a kilo for value to £13.99 a kile for free range.
If you buy a whole chicken it's a hell of a lot cheaper, and they still have breasts! Plus then you get several more meals...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

hey all
i have just made a trip to tesco for the weekly food shop and am astounded how many value lines are disappearing.. value bread, honey and peanut butter all gone now.
anyone else having the same prob or is it just my tesco?

No i ve had the same problem with them.Yet it was in the newspaper that they and sainsburys have increased the number of basics lines.I ve seen no evidence of it at all.Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0
