FOr those who like Delicous Red apples they are on offer for 69p for 6 in Aldi but £1.88 for 6 in Morrisons.

I'd say chicken breast ranges from £6.49 a kilo for value to £13.99 a kile for free range.
If you buy a whole chicken it's a hell of a lot cheaper, and they still have breasts! Plus then you get several more meals...

Are they definitely Red Delicious? The picture on the Aldi website looks more like Braeburns (my favourite) :drool: They have had Braeburns on previous red apple offers so I wouldn't be surprised.

Just had a look at the ones I bought, and mine are Gala's! Perhaps they have different varieties dependent on supplies?

hey all

i have just made a trip to tesco for the weekly food shop and am astounded how many value lines are disappearing.. value bread, honey and peanut butter all gone now.
anyone else having the same prob or is it just my tesco?

Honey is in short supply anyway on the market in general esp British honey. but yes ours seems to have done away with value peanut butter and even own brand peanut butter now only selling the dear brands

No i ve had the same problem with them.Yet it was in the newspaper that they and sainsburys have increased the number of basics lines.I ve seen no evidence of it at all.
