A few months ago I went through my magazine "stash" ... some go back a while (20yrs) ... but they are still *really, really, REALLY* interesting - honest!

Seeing as we're being honest I'd better put my hands up too.
There's probably a few hundred books boxed up here

I used to think that I would never part with my books. But our house is not huge and we need the space. My husband got rid of hundreds of albums too. We've kept our favourites but don't miss the ones we parted with.
It was that or buy a bigger house! If I ever was mysteriously suddently wealthy, I always imagined I'd have a cottage somewhere surrounded by forest, with a house full of wooden furniture, books, plants and lots of cats and children! My own little library was part of that fantasy.
But I live in a small terraced and it's filling up with toys instead!
Since I met my hubbie in our house (visiting my friend who was lodging here at the time) I'd hate to leave it for a bigger place, unless it was for the country dream!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

Gingham ... my dh was *persuaded* that, if I were to move in with him, the mags came too .....
... or the deal was OFF
I also pointed out that even if we had to dismantle the airing cupboad and all the contents, we could still keep warm under the pages of my mags, laying comfortably on top of a bed made of books, lined with the odds n bobs of my fabric stash.
I allow him a corner of a cupboard for his stuff~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

With me it was love me love my cats! I had 5 when I met him! He still doesn't exactly love them, but when one of them was shot in the spine with a pellet gun he was beside himself with worry! (The cat was fine by the way.)
They even shared our bed until I got pregnant with our son. I'm glad I complied with that request. I get a better nights' sleep. I just have to work out how to stop him snoring...May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
