Smiley_Mum wrote:Have you seen the fold your shirt thread. The vid was too quick for me so there is this one here that is slightly slower, you'll be able to fold your shirts after you've ironed them in seconds.

Wow, if I'd have looked at this thread a year ago, the list of my hoardings would fill a couple of pages. But most of it has now gone. We have given bootloads of stuff to charity shops over the last year, thrown away and recycled further loads and I've made space for the 2 drawers full of stuff I want to keep.
I'm pretty amazed now I say it, but I think flylady.net has changed my life almost as much as my moneysaving ways! I'm not particularly tidy yet and I am not as organised as I'd like to be, but I DO have much more room in the house than I ever had.
And once I realised that I didn't need every Christmas card etc from people to remember them, it became quite easy to let it all go. Good feeling.
My big one was books though. Thousands. They've mostly gone now and I use the library a lot!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I must admit to one weakness and something I will not be letting go, I have every birthday, christmas, mothers day card that my Husband children and grandchildren have sent me in a box, they can do what they like with them when I'm gone, but untl then THEY STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'd rather lose my right arm
In fact I'm so bad that I'm looking to replace a couple (2nd hand of course) that I used to have and leant out but they were never returned, just so I can have them sitting back on my shelf again"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

It is that what you do, good or bad,
will come back to you three times as strong!

A few months ago I went through my magazine "stash" ... some go back a while (20yrs) ... but they are still *really, really, REALLY* interesting - honest!
I have reformed insomuch that I don't BUY many now and have put them all into a logical order ..... but ONLY to prevent me buying any more
 Which reminds me, I really must put the October box back and get the Nov/Dec box out.
See, I'm not tooooooooo bad :A
 *did I mention the fabric/button stash*?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Are they first editions? Gifts? Just books you've enjoyed and will (never;)) go back to?
Get rid of them!!!!!0
