7.5 was great but they will stop updates for it in a few weeks.

According to the AVG Forum Here updates for 7.5 will continue until 31/12/2008 so I am sticking with AVG 7.5 for now and see what happens at the end of May.Regards

I wonder how long AVG Anti-Rootkit Fee will last then... AVG 8.0 combines virus and spyware checking but no rootkit stuff as I understand it.0

Well I just got an update for AVG 7.5 so that confirms this version is still being supported for the time being.Regards
