Another busy day here and I'm off out in a minute to collect DD2 who is at cricket, DD1 will walk home on her own as she is at netball.
So far today after the school run
I've shopped at Aldi, Asda and Tescos and put it all away. ;)
    Had my haircut.:D
Done all of my planning for school.
    Tidied around the house.

We're having chicken, bacon and mushrooms in a mushroom sauce with pasta followed by strawberries. I also need to make some veg soup for my lunches for the rest of the week. I'm off out tonight at a meeting at church so it's all go here! :rotfl:
    Have a good evening! :D

:DHere you go. ;) They are lovely with gammon or pork and really economical if you use soaked beans.

    good afternoon everyone

havent posted for a while but nothing too much happening here at the moment.

Off to school tonight for parents evening and then the kids go back to school tomorrow. Been doing DS's homework today - he didnt tell me he had to do a whole project covering 8 pages!!!!!! on the polar regions ( a bit much for an 8 year old imo). Still its all done now it took us 3 hours - he was not impressed!!!

Gonna make chicken and bacon pasta bake tonight as the bacon is going out of date today.

Hope everyone is ok - hugs to those that need them esp smokey and PP.

    Liz xx
  • Afternoon all,

((((((smokey)))))) you really are doing so well, just keep plodding & don't worry about all the other "stuff" - look after you & your children.

((((hugs)))) also to those who have had bad days or bad news :(

Was shattered by 3pm, shock to the system going back to work/placement, but got some flexibility to take random days off to help with finding time to write essays (giving the time back to complete an assessment of a foster family & take them to Panel later in the summer :) ).

Welcome to newbies & returners too. And hello Haribo! lol!!! Glad you had a good if busy time.
Off to get a cuppa & buy some cider & cream to cook the pork in for supper.
