Oh PP you bad, bad girl. Your post has just reminded me that I was going to clean my conservatory windows today. I've got to go off and do it now! Thanks a bunch:pLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

I don't use ebay. Never want to either. Thanks anyway. Anyone else know of a cheap deal for a wheatbag? PM me plz if you do.
Make them yourself!!!!
I ordered wheat online - along with lavender....cost me £21 including delivery for enough wheat to make 10 bags (according to the instructions that you get with it). I've made 16 of various sizes (great for xmas pressies - type out some instructions and laminate to look good) I've still got about a 1/3 of a sack of wheat left and half a sack of lavender."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Never made one myself but I expect you could make your own wheat bag in true OS fashion.
I'm sure someone on here will be along in a minute to tell us what to put in it!0 -
See what I mean - Pooky was even typing the instructions before I'd clicked my mouse!0

Afternoon all :hello:
Well, after waking myself up coughing and spluttering at about 3.30am watching tv and trying to learn Portugese (it was on the tv whilst I was coughing!) I managed to get a bit of sleep before remembering I had a hair appointment at 9am! I hadn't been for 7 months (whoops!), so the poor girl had her work cut out. She was trying to get me to have a different style, which she's been semi-successful in doing - hey, Rome wasn't built in a day and I've been perfectly happy with my hair style for 3 years!!!
Popped into town after that and spent my £5 Boots voucher (the money off skin care). There was hardly any choice, but it was worth it in the end!
I'm now waiting for the butcher's shop to open in 5 mins time and I'll go and get some mince. We've got friends coming round for supper tonight and I'm going to do them a Moussaka from the recent "easy cook" recipe magazine because it looks easy.
Oh, and I've got myself some temporary work  starting tomorrow. There's no supply work around at the mo, but the beetroot factory that I used to work in as a manager has said that they'll take me on until my supply work kicks in. I think OH is a little surprised, to say the least, but it'll get me thinking about something else.
So, I won't be around first thing in the morning for a while.
Anyway, I'll see you later.

Spent most of the day in Leeds getting last minute items for DD who goes back to uni on Friday.
No idea what to have for tea and waiting for inspiration to strike.
Might have to get some more bread flour as I have nearly run out and people panic buy due to petrol crisis."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
Preemie hats - 2.0 -
Been into school to see DD's teacher. All very simple, just sign a few forms to say that they can take her picture, give her a plaster if she needs it, I'll see to her if she has nits and I think there was something else but
can I remember what it was? :rotfl: Anyway I also found out that she doesn't need a PE kit BUT (don't you love the way schools say that!) if she could have a white t-shirt and blue shorts with some pumps in a bag in school then it would be better. She also needs to have a school bag soon so I might just treat her to a reading bag with the school name etc on as she loves reading so much and I know it will get alot of use!
Went down to Asda to have a look at the plain shorts / tshirts while they should still have some in but had to leave in a hurry after I got the most terrific pain in my leg. I thought it was something serious as I could feel a big lump through my trousers. Came home in real pain and went upstairs to have a look ready to phone the doctors or OH to come home and take me the hospital! (I have this real fear because of some medicine I am on, and the fact that I am 5stone at least overweight that I'm going to get a blood clot) I roll my trouser leg up to find a huge yellow/white spot with a huge red area around it! It wasn't there this morning when I got dressed otherwise I would have seen it. Panic over for now, but it was such a scare that I'm even more determind to loose this excess weight. I'll get weighed tomorrow and start exercising while finishing off the chocolate cake tonight. I've also had a few largers this week simply because they are there so that stops after tonight as well (I'm thinking chocolate cake, 2 cans of larger and CSI: Miami / CSI : New York / Medium and then a very good long sleep!) I think I'm also going to work on a chart of some sort to post on my cupboard so that I know what portion sizes are (like a tablespoon of peas etc) and cut us all back to that!
Off to do some laundry and then I think I'll work on a weight loss chart and stuffCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Back from the doctors
Am now on Prozac for the next 6 months as they no longer offer counselling on the NHS
Haven't taken anti-d's since I had PND with DD1 20 years ago, she promised that these wouldn't make me fall asleep at 5.30 like the last lot did.
Still perhaps things will get better when DD1 is at school and I can get a grip on the house properly.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Sorry to hear about that moggins. I have been on ADs for 18months now, and the doc changed them 3 weeks ago and i haven't looked back. I can face the world again, and even went back to work again yesterday, so lets hope that they help you.0

Not too O/S round here today as I'm working til 8 then I'm out for the evening, but I've a packed lunch and tea so I'm a little organised I suppose
I've also been given one tennisball sized orange - and I really can't be doing with oranges... any ideas what I can do with it that avoids having to scrape of pith and so forth?Pre O/S: what's a vitamin? Does it begin with the letter e?Now: I'm not eating any of that pre-made rubbish...0
