My advice would be to bring up all the cheap airlines one by one to select a flight. Where it asks you to select the airport you're flying from, insert the place you're going to. In your case, Basel. Then click on the Destination and the drop-down list will show all the uk airports the airline flies to. If one is near you, or is easy for you to get to, you're on a roll. All you need to then do is insert the uk airport in the departure box and continue with the boking. Good luck with it.

Lucky you Munchkin (not really!), got my email at 10:04 today!! I know it sometimes takes a while to filter through, but if it's going to take that long in future then the words "chocolate" and "fireguard" spring to mind. lol

Hopefully we'll both have better luck next time.

Even if you don't get the bargain rooms from these remarkable offers, you could try the very reliable site of 'At home in London'. There are many wonderful places to stay in 'normal' residents' homes at a fraction of the cost of any other hotel etc accommodation; and the kids will get an added bonus of staying for example in the house where a famous actor/musician/ artist etc was born or lived- still within very close proximity to main visitor sites according to your choice.:j

I know that some people have already said this, but just to reiterate......the email is sent out in stages, but you can access the newsletter on the MSE site as soon as the first emails are sent out (i.e Tuesday evening)

The Hoxton Hotel will apparently be having another £1 sale some time in July. Keep an eye out for Martin's Money Tips closer to the time.

Ahhh right. For some reason, when you said Euro trip, I assumed you were coming over to the UK from somewhere else!

Not sure of when there'll be another sale of worldwide rooms, but hopefully Martin will let us know.
